I am not a Hindu .I am a Parsee. We are not even a minority in India ,but a micro- minority. My views are very unbiased & not coloured by religion or faith.. I can tell you one thing.. here in this country, we are ' Indians' first. We Parsees have never ever been made to feel as if we are different. We know that we are loved & appreciated here. We speak a different language, dress differently, look different, eat different food (completely non-veg. ), our God is different and our religious belief system & rituals are so different. Yet, this country has accepted us so beautifully. Because here, Country comes first, mazhab later. That is the beauty of India. My India.
As far as Modi goes, one should not listen to external media propaganda. The ground reality is that he is extremely popular here in India & amongst most Indians worldwide. Of course, some of his policies might have failed, but that is only normal. In a span of 10 years, there will be some that misfire. But by and large, we are blessed to have this dynamic, bold and forward looking leader. He is a doer. He is inspirational.. He is 73 years old, and the way he interacts with 20-30 year olds, as though he's one of them. Because he thinks like them, he dreams like them. He has ushered in a wave of patriotism amongst each of us. We are proud Indians. Mera Bharat Mahaan.

I am from a small village UP and I have travelled 17 States then I learnt that people might change their POV in terms of state elections but for central government elections only BJP because people don't like dinesty politics.
That's why majority considers Rahul as Pappu and rightfully so because he doesn't know the Indians well.
He will only get those votes where people really h@te Modi otherwise nobody takes him seriously.

If you check states like minority dominated states like Punjab, Kashmir, Nagaland, Mizoram etc, they have always voted on sectarian lines even before BJP became dominant.
Historically, it is nearly impossible for a Hindu candidate to win if they are less than 50 percent in any constituency.
But Hindus have voted irrespective of religion which lead to loss of political power.
Indian politics historically has been based on vote bank politics.

I’m a BJP supporter wtf are you talking about? Last population census was done in 2011. Also i think illegal immigrants number is insanely huge. In 1998 itself there was an influx of 1-2 Crores Src: It was documented in a politicians (whose name i cant recall rn) letter. Just imagine what could be the number in 2024!

Btw, the data was also presented on the floor of the parliament in 2023 by Smriti Irani, who is the cabinet minister. Read facts, not narratives. Inke saare analysis me dekhna, kis taraf humesha benefits of doubt jata hai. Scrutiny dono side ke claims ki honi chahiye, but anecdotal evidence and selectively biased sources ke base pe analysis karne ke baad khud surprise hote hai jab reality saamne aati hai.

One small correction, Arun Jaitley actually lost the election in 2014 from Chandigarh ,but he was a close friend of Modi and a face of BJP as an elite intellectual in the media ,that's why even after losing the election he was made the Finance Minister of India after getting sent by BJP through Rajya Sabha.

However, when it comes to opinions from external sources, generally, those holding a more favourable view of the country are preferred by and large by everyone. Second in line are those who objectively and with reason analyse the successes and areas for improvement of a country without making it into a you vs. me affair. That is the category Uzair falls into, unlike many Pakistani commentators or leaders who claim to "know" India and then dish out nonsense about its polity and society and who without even having visited India in the last ten years seem to think India is a "Hindu" version of Zia's Pakistan. It's interesting and often funny for people in India to listen to such voices, just to get a sense of how Pakistani intellectuals think and how disconnected they are from the reality of India today - definitely not much to like there is it ;)

Totally wrong analysis! Muslims do vote as a block just like in 1946 elections for Pakistan the vote was from pan-India (including South and East). Even as NaMO has done lots of work for all people without discrimination but muslims still vote as per their "Mazhab" to gain something as a block (like they did by dividing India into three in 1940s).

With respect to Kejriwal case a lot of points were oversighted - First he was summoned 4 times by ED and he didnt reply to summon which is why he was arrested and not granted bail. Secondly, there is a money trail linked to him and evidence was provided by tanker agents people who store liquor and they complain that Competitive bidding has led to artificial shortage. Kejriwal also said that he will not appear before ED because ED has not provided any proof for claim.
I feel so bad for this podcast, Not a single Pakistani is listening to it . Pakistani youtubers are so dependent on us Indians .
I am from kerala, I support BJP. There will be no pakistan in another decade.
A couple of quick corrections:
1. In South India, BJP has a huge base in Karnataka but not at all in Tamil Nadu. The Hindutva project in coastal Karnataka is several decades old but is fairly recent in Tamil Nadu. So yes, BJP will do very well in its southern citadel of Karnataka but much less in TN.
2. The GST was an idea which was in the works during the second UPA term and was finally passed (with a few changes) in NDA's first term. There was already widespread political buy in for the idea but the details took a while to work out and the strongest opposition came from state governments who feared loss of revenue.
One final point - the success of both Bengaluru and Hyderabad in IT services and the tech sector has been down to the large pool of trained professionals and a real estate sector that could build and develop tech parks (while managing govt and land owners' needs). Bangalore's comparative advantage has been the much much better weather than Hyderabad but hey climate change will probably put paid to that soon.

Hindutva politics, caste-based politics, language politics, socialist politics, minority appeasement, welfare schemes, freebies, etc are sadly still a big part of Indian politics. Some of it is necessary for winning, that's why even a strong party like BJP has to use it regardless of it being beneficial or not, BJP tries to use Hindutva to tackle caste-based politics and Muslim unity, and the opposition tries to use caste-based politics and minority appeasement to tackle Hindutva
