    I prepare barley in my rice cooker, one part barley/two parts water, chopped onion, frozen vegetables and black pepper, garlic powder, curry powder, and a splash of fish sauce. Once it’s cooked I stir in a bit of olive oil. So inexpensive and easy!

    Youre so sweet! Ahahahaah when you went off on a tangent "isn't our god great, giving us foods that will nourish us", truly one of the signs of a god, how could atoms colliding on their own, and without a higher power guiding them, possibly create a earth where we have things like vitamins, and where each food group plays a role in our nourishment, truly a miracle!
    And if i had read correctly, jesus(peace be upon him) would eat barley bread, and so would prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him), one of muhammeds favourite dishes was apparently a barley dessert called talbina made with: dates, milk, and barley+ some people add cardamom too! So i guess we could say its a blessed food...

      @faribaalizadeh1722 3 года назад

      That’s superstitious, Jesus never multiplied the loaf literally. There’s spiritual meaning for that. For over 2000 years all of you believed like that, then the brain of scientists didn’t accept it then the christians said science is evil. They separate themselves from science and the most important the christians because of their wrong beliefs they couldn’t find of their promised one of bible like other religions, because they never think deeply to understand the words of God has spiritual meaning. The messengers never saying lie or superstition it’s all about us, we should think to get the real meaning then we can find the promise one of all ages before.

      Well the good news is everyone gets to enjoy God’s blessings in the foods he created, the nature around us, and even the pleasantries of nice people.
      God designed our bodies to release oxytocin when we are loved and hugged.
      Only a God who designed love would do this.
