- Come with us on a full tour and review of one of the most amazing resorts in the Maldives : Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru. Located in Baa Atoll, a Unesco Biosphere Reserve 30 minutes north on Malé, this 5* resort offers a bit more than 100 luxury villas (50/50 between beach and overwater).
During our visit to Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru in December 2021 the resort was doing quite some big constructions to improve its beach villas and build some seawalls to protect the island. Of course, these constructions are not permanent and should be totally over by the end of 2022. Also note that some part of the Spa was also in renovation so we unfortunately did not have the chance to review their original Spa over water and had our massage in the garden rooms.
So far, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru has been the best resort in the Maldives in terms of service, and, despite having some construction works, it was overall one of the best resorts we visited thanks to incredible food, outstanding service, beautiful villa and an awesome lagoon.

We’re you able to get the ok to fly your drone easily?
On the sandbank you're totally free to fly it. You can't fly it close to your villa, though. When I flew it in the villas area, I was more than 175m high so it did not disturb anyone / infringe on privacy.
You're always allowed to fly it close to the "BLU" restaurant at the edge of the beach.
Villa 200 is the best one. It’s my second home

If i have to visit 2 or more resorts
Will i get any direct flight to one resort from another or i will get sea plan to male and male to another resort only?
Hi, you can always arrange transfers between resorts but unless it's on a flight route where the plane usually stops, you'd have to make it private and so super expensive. Usually, what we would do is go back to Male unless of course the second resort is in the same atoll in which case we do boat transfer.

Needs commentary.
The island looks beautiful. But the hotel looks like it badly needs updating. The designs are so old. The lobby is horrifying. The water villas look dirty. The pools doesn't look appealing. Really ruins the island. Disappointed in the 4 Seasons.
Everybody without face masks???
All staff member wear a mask and guests can wear some, if they want :) Also, all guests have been tested and so do the staff regularly. We've visited more than 10 resorts in the Maldives since the pandemic started and we never had a single positive case in the resort.
