Arrival
Our journey to this paradise began with a smooth and luxurious arrival. The moment we landed at Malé International Airport, a friendly Four Seasons staff member welcomed us and swiftly escorted us to the seaplane terminal where we waited comfortably in the private lounge for the BEAUTIFUL seaplane from Four Seasons. From there, we embarked on a breathtaking 35-minute seaplane ride that transported us towards the Northers side of the Maldives, precisely where the resort is nestled in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO biosphere reserve. The scenic aerial views of the crystal-clear waters and coral reefs set the stage for our incredible adventure.
Beachfront Bliss
Our accommodation, a newly renovated beach villa with a private pool, was the epitome of luxury. It was only a stone's throw away from the pristine beach, offering direct access to the powdery sands and the inviting waters. The villa's design seamlessly blended modern comforts with traditional Maldivian aesthetics, creating a serene and stylish space. Waking up to the gentle lull of the waves and the sight of the turquoise sea was nothing short of magical.
Culinary Delights
During our stay, we made it a mission to savor the culinary delights offered across the island, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Whether it was dining over the water at Blu, indulging in local flavors at Café Landaa, relishing the fresh seafood at Al Barakat, or enjoying a beachfront barbecue at Fuego Grill, we were consistently treated to a gastronomic journey that exceeded our expectations. The culinary team's commitment to excellence was truly commendable and Four Seasons Landaa remains in our list of the best resorts in the Maldives when it comes to food.
Underwater Adventures
While we didn't explore the depths of the ocean through diving, we did have an extraordinary snorkeling experience right on the house reef. The house reef at Landaa Giraavaru was teeming with vibrant marine life, making it a snorkeler's paradise. Even though the reef is fishy, it is still not as exciting as other resorts be it in Baa Atoll or in some Southern atolls. Still, we enjoyed it very much and snorkeling enthusiasts will still enjoyed their underwater adventures at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru. IF you want a special experience, do book the Manta snorkeling trip. It's absolutely amazing.
Soothing Spa Indulgence
No luxurious escape is complete without a spa experience, and at the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, it was absolutely indulgent. We treated ourselves to a rejuvenating massage at the spa. The tranquil ambiance and the expert therapists ensured that every ounce of stress melted away. The spa's holistic approach to wellness left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Only sad thing is that the overwater spa was under renovation when we were there so we got our massage in the garden rooms. It's still very nice, but not as mesmerizing than having a massage in an overwater treatment room.

One aspect that truly stood out during our stay was the level of service. The staff's attention to detail, warmth, and dedication to making our experience memorable was remarkable. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, we were made to feel like cherished guests, and every request was met with a smile. It's this personal touch that truly sets Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru apart.

The resort's beaches are a veritable haven for beach lovers. With soft, powdery sands and crystal-clear waters, we found ourselves frequently strolling along the shoreline, basking in the sun, and taking in the breathtaking views. The beauty of these beaches is simply unparalleled, and there's something undeniably soothing about being by the ocean. DO NOT MISS a trip to the sandbank, you will not believe how beautiful this piece of sand is. Just borrow a complimentary kayak and you'll reach there in less than 10 minutes. 100% worth it!
