Him trying to kill Tara is what pushed Jax over the edge in my opinion. All that other stuff he did Jax probably wouldve looked past but him trying to kill Tara, that was the trigger.
@@jr-qj2dq no, but I don't think him killing Piney would've driven Jax to kill Clay. Remember, he initially was going to kill Clay. It was him going after Tara that put it over the top. Remember when Clay dissed Tara in front of Jax and Jax got in his face and told him he would "pound those half dead hands" if he did it again?
@@anthonycampos8057 OK just forget about the iris for a minute and forget about the cartel you really think that he was not going tell the club what Clay did I mean sure Clay going after Tara he really wanted to kill him but he also wanted him dead for beating his mother can killing piney He betrayed his club and his family for that reason I think If jax didn’t kill him himself he would’ve told the club and clay would of got that Mayhem vote and died
Jax isn't stupid he knew. Gemma married Clay for Goodness sakes. They even talked about it after this scene. Gemma said she felt like Jax hated her and was pushing her away. He admitted that everything with Clay, her and his father's death was making him distance himself.
More mass murderer than serial. Theres certain traits one must show to be a serial killer, sexual , power satisfaction , cool down period between murderes, certain ways of killing etc. jax is deff a psychopath tho
Honestly jax was always blind when it came to gemma but like clay gave him a very good piece of evidence that she was involved with jt's murder and knew who clay really was. When clay asks if gemma gave jax the letters, that should have been a dead giveaway she's involved

If Kurt Sutter and Ron Pearlman didn't have a falling out I think the ending could have been saved by 1 small change. Jax going to clay's grave leaving his Son's ring on it and saying something along the lines of "I can never forgive you, but I understand why you did what you did, I couldn't lead the club like you did, I wish things had been diffrent, but I get it now."

I remember this episode came on my birthday. I was elated to see Jax finally step up and take over from Clay. It was a long time coming.
He did so unwillingly.
He's lucky Jax didn't kill him
@@kansasiwa5176But….. he does 😂. Not in this scene, but later on 😂
Him killing Piney was terrible, but him trying to kill Tara, that was the nail in the coffin. I still wish Opie had finished the job, though.
If opie killed Clay without bringing it to the table first, he might have been voted out of the club or met Mr. Mayhem.
There would be a trial. Piney, Jax and Opie would speak out. Clay only have one loyal brother. Tig.
@@nandinhocunha440 that's a torn situation

It's that look on Jax face when hes about to do a personal kill
The same smile when the Grinch got his wonderful awful idea.
Clay was by far and away the best villain in the series. However too many shows keep a great villain around too long. It really got beyond ridiculous.
What about Stahl?
Its based apon Hamlet and clay is claudius who dies in the second Last Act and Clay dies in the second Last Season
Dude, Jax was the true villain of the series.
Disagree with all yall lol, hands down GEMMA was the best villain of them all!!!! I hated the sight of that bitch 🤣
@@pwnasty yeah sure
Gotta give it to jax for holding back considering he was fuming beyond belief
When clay betrayed Jax that’s when the show really started to get good and crazy.
Such a great intense scene and so satisfying to see jax cut the patch off of clay’s cut well done Ron and Charlie
I only just got into watching it 😊
If Jax would’ve let clay say his piece about Gemma’s hand in Johns death tara might’ve lived because Jax would’ve dealt with her too

Clay killed Piney. Clay killed Jhon Teller. Clay tried to kill Tara. Then beat up Jax mother. Then Clay became a government rat. It's fair enough.
Clay killed McGee too

Agreed!
This is we’re Jax teller became the reaper
See what jax did when he found out the truth about his dad imagine what adult Abel would do if he found out jax drugged and threaten to kill his mom
He would understand because tara was the first mom he knew. So he would feel for Jax wanting to keep their family of four together

Gemma used her womanly way to make Clay do her bidding still no excuse to betray his brotherhood
Cared so much about his wife yet cheated on her how many times
