It doesn't have a synth engine if that's what you're asking. Now, whether you could do some magic and make synth sounds, that's a maybe. I personally don't have a unit but am planning on getting one.
Great sounds man. And youŕe agreat player. Did you use the unit straight to a p.a.or powered stage monitor as well? How does that sounds? Because my experience with an old gt 10 was that is sounded good through my studio monitors but not that good direct in p.a. speakers. Thanks , Mike

Can you confirm that this Core version does NOT have bluetooth like the big one? That's kind of a bummer for on the go editing. I've been thinking about moving from MS-3 with Power Stack to one of these.
Hey u can plug direct into a full range speaker like a powered monitor or recording interface or u can use it with a regular guitar amp as there is no amp in this...
@@simonmcbrideTV Thanks Simon. So you would only use it for effects, if plugging into a guitar amp? Or would a powered monitor be a better option? I don't have a guitar interface. I'm getting back into playing guitar, after a three year absence. Just waiting on a custom SMP and need an amp and everything else that goes with it. Thanks
I see you posting on every Core video asking the same question... the UI and effects on this are identical to the bigger GT-1000. There are plenty of videos on how to make presets for it.

@@JeffHendricks Just noticed that GT-1000 iOS app it's been updated to support GT-1000CORE....but GT-1000CORE does not have Bluetooth, or yes ???
