He said she tried to be "physical" when talking to Nicole which could mean she wanted to kiss and make out. He told Beniah she tried to have sex which could be his interpretation of her trying to be affectionate. Sam is being messy and he knows he's on camera. I don't believe him. If anything, I think it goes to show that he just wasn't attracted to her and just wanted to be on the show.
I don't think Benaiah was doing too much. If you revisit episode 5, Nicole said that she made a huge mistake with Sam, it wasn't right. She said what she needed to say to get Benaiah back. Now once she got him, she started changing her tune at the mixer, chatting about "me and Sam had a connection, it was real". She is appearing disingenuous, and she wasn't prepared to reassure her partner. It would have been so interesting if Benaiah hadn't proposed, and she was left to really process what went wrong with Sam.

I understand you feeling that Beneiah going to Sam was a waste of time. But I'm a bit surprised that you dont have a problem with Sam mentioning Nicole wanting to sleep with him. It was clear that he was trying to humiliate her. That's why he said it repeatedly. I didn't find it funny or amusing. It was a childish, disrespectful and nasty thing to do. Nicole might be a little annoying at times but she has never disrespected anyone. Not even Sam. Whether it happened or not, Nicole did not deserve to be treated like that. Even during his conversation with Beneiah, I felt it was low to use Nicole to get under Beneiah's skin. It wasn't funny. He could have kept his anger focused on Beneiah instead of further disrespecting Nicole by bringing up a private moment that (may) have happened between them.

It's about Sam using it in an attempt to not only make her look desperate but also say he rejected her. It's not about her wanting to be intimate at all. To be honest, it's probably one of the most disgusting things I've seen someone do in all the seasons of Love Is Blind.

He didn't show much attraction during the reveal, and she had to notice that. In my opinion, despite her truly wanting Beneiah, I think she would have tried to make something work with Sam had he shown a real interest. Nicole can work my nerves at times, but I like her. What Sam did in that moment was so low. He is truly a disgusting human being. I will forever feel she did not deserve what he did to her.

After watching the reunion and seeing Nicole is now saying that Sam was lying to Benaiah, I can see her being someone that both is non-confrontational and also not reading Sam's words to her being physical which maybe she did want to try things like cuddling, kissing, etc after saying no to going to Greece and he said no since he wanted to stay on the show as many of the couples that get engaged that don't move on to the next stage break up soon after. I would like to hear more details, but I do see some wiggle room for Nicole agreeing with Sam's wording of physical, but disagreeing that she tried to have sex with him and he said no. It's also possible that Nicole wasn't clear either with Sam where he interpreted that she meant sex when she didn't, but since he said no, they never cleared up the miscommunication. This is all giving Nicole the benefit of the doubt, but definitely see this situation as at least a possibility. All this said, Sam has no right to say what he said to Benaiah as he clearly just said that to hurt him.

Jasmine’s mum apologised for calling Bobby uneducated on TikTok. She said tagalog is her first language and so her choice of words in English may sound harsh but that’s not how she meant it in her head
I believe Ollie finds Demi attractive, but in a lukewarm way. He's not awed by her, like Steeve is with Sabrina or even Benaiah with Nicole. They are both compatible with similar values, but something is missing. He seems content, like a man who's been with his wife for 10-20 years that he still finds attractive, but the fireworks are not there anymore, and he's just content with what he has. Problem is, it's only been a few weeks. How much will this be enough for him? Even if he says yes at the altar, I'll still be skeptical. Jarrett and Iyanna got married... Maria and Tom can't work. Maria wasn't that upfront about her values. When she said that she was okay with traditional gender roles, she backtracked as soon as Tom said that it's not exactly how he views relationships. Maybe that's the edit, but it felt like they brushed it off so that they could be together. They should have talked more extensively about their values in the pods and the lifestyle they desire. I'm side-eyeing both of them right now because why did Maria propose to pay for ice cream just to be offended because he didn't propose to pay? She's too grown to act like a teenager who wants to test her boyfriend. But I'm side-eyeing Tom even more because, to me, it seems like he was letting the door open while discussing with Tasha. He said she tried to be "physical" when talking to Nicole which could mean she wanted to kiss and make out. He told Beniah she tried to have sex which could be his interpretation of her trying to be affectionate. Sam is being messy and he knows he's on camera. I don't believe him. If anything, I think it goes to show that he just wasn't attracted to her and just wanted to be on the show.

I don't think Benaiah was doing too much. If you revisit episode 5, Nicole said that she made a huge mistake with Sam, it wasn't right. She said what she needed to say to get Benaiah back. Now once she got him, she started changing her tune at the mixer, chatting about "me and Sam had a connection, it was real". She is appearing disingenuous, and she wasn't prepared to reassure her partner. It would have been so interesting if Benaiah hadn't proposed, and she was left to really process what went wrong with Sam.
I think his anger was a bit misdirected and I don’t like how he treaded Nicole like a child who is incapable of making her own decisions.

I understand you feeling that Beneiah going to Sam was a waste of time. But I'm a bit surprised that you dont have a problem with Sam mentioning Nicole wanting to sleep with him. It was clear that he was trying to humiliate her. That's why he said it repeatedly. I didn't find it funny or amusing. It was a childish, disrespectful and nasty thing to do. Nicole might be a little annoying at times but she has never disrespected anyone. Not even Sam. Whether it happened or not, Nicole did not deserve to be treated like that.
Even during his conversation with Beneiah, I felt it was low to use Nicole to get under Beneiah's skin. It wasn't funny. He could have kept his anger focused on Beneiah instead of further disrespecting Nicole by bringing up a private moment that (may) have happened between them.
I get that! But I didn’t see it as something to be humiliated by since they were engaged so it would be no different than the other couples sleeping together on their honeymoon. I was just waiting for Nicole to say “Yea I wanted to be intimate, so what?” Or call Sam out for lying on her. It sucks that Beniah had to hear that from Sam, not Nicole nor did se offer Beniah any closure on something that was clearly bothering him. Either way, Nicole can choose to be intimate whenever she wants.

It's about Sam using it in an attempt to not only make her look desperate but also say he rejected her. It's not about her wanting to be intimate at all. It's about him using that private moment as a way to embarrass her. It was gross, and I didn't like it. To be honest, it's probably one of the most disgusting things I've seen someone do in all the seasons of Love Is Blind.

I don’t think Sam “checked” Benniah by trying to slut shame Nicole. I think Nicole was so desperate to get that old thing back with Sam that she resorted to trying to be physical with him to form a connection. Which is never good. But, she had every right to do it. She wasn’t with Benniah. Every relationship is different so the expectation that each one will follow the same trajectory is silly.
It's not that Nicole took a run at Sam, but that she's refusing to talk about what happened with the man she's going to marry and left him looking stupid with Sam spilled all the beans.

After watching the reunion and seeing Nicole is now saying that Sam was lying to Benaiah, I can see her being someone that both is non-confrontational and also not reading Sam's words to her being physical which maybe she did want to try things like cuddling, kissing, etc after saying no to going to Greece and he said no since he wanted to stay on the show as many of the couples that get engaged that don't move on to the next stage break up soon after. I would like to hear more details, but I do see some wiggle room for Nicole agreeing with Sam's wording of physical, but disagreeing that she tried to have sex with him and he said no. It's also possible that Nicole wasn't clear either with Sam where he interpreted that she meant sex when she didn't, but since he said no, they never cleared up the miscommunication. This is all giving Nicole the benefit of the doubt, but definitely see this situation as at least a possibility.
All this said, Sam has no right to say what he said to Benaiah as he clearly just said that to hurt him.

Jasmine’s mum apologised for calling Bobby uneducated on TikTok. She said tagalog is her first language and so her choice of words in English may sound harsh but that’s not how she meant it in her head
I believe Ollie finds Demi attractive, but in a lukewarm way. He's not awed by her, like Steeve is with Sabrina or even Benaiah with Nicole. They are both compatible with similar values, but something is missing. He seems content, like a man who's been with his wife for 10-20 years that he still finds attractive, but the fireworks are not there anymore, and he's just content with what he has. Problem is, it's only been a few weeks. How much will this be enough for him? Even if he says yes at the altar, I'll still be skeptical. Jarrett and Iyanna got married...
Maria and Tom can't work. Maria wasn't that upfront about her values. When she said that she was okay with traditional gender roles, she backtracked as soon as Tom said that it's not exactly how he views relationships. Maybe that's the edit, but it felt like they brushed it off so that they could be together. They should have talked more extensively about their values in the pods and the lifestyle they desire. I'm side-eyeing both of them right now because why did Maria propose to pay for ice cream just to be offended because he didn't propose to pay? She's too grown to act like a teenager who wants to test her boyfriend. But I'm side-eyeing Tom even more because, to me, it seems like he was letting the door open while discussing with Tasha. I don't believe he likes Maria that much, or he has more reservations than he claims. He's just attracted. Since the pods I never understood why they chose each other.

See Ben’s strong reaction to not being chosen was the red flag for me because “you’ve never seen him like this” for any breakup. I do know the process is accelerated for LIB but that was concerning. The Sam thing might be a tad toxic but it can also seem protective.
