- We have always wondered about Costco’s stuffed salmon so today we are making a complete Costco meal and we will see if it’s worth the money….
We also got the Greek Salad and Ciabatta Rolls.

Loved this!! As a single person, I always wonder how those meals are at Costco. I'm picky about my salmon so I'll have to give this one a try! Keep these videos coming. Both Costco and Sam's have great pre fab meals. They are good, no disputing the flavor factor. However they are loaded with sodium and / or sugar. So please read the labels. I recreate these at home and use the excess ingredients in other dishes. There is no waste in my house. Just thought I would point that out for those that have health concerns and provide an alternative.

I made a Mediterranean Tabbouleh Couscous salad to go with both chilli and garlic and herb chicken skewers. My salad is based on a Greek salad. I make my dressing using olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, feta cheese, Parmesan cheese and a little salt and pepper. Soooo good!

Well, thank you. I actually got it on clearance at a place that I buy some food online called Stonewall kitchen. You might want to check it out. They have a section called the barn sale and I got that apron for five dollars. And it is a very good quality.❤️

Wonderful review. I love a good greek salad and that one seemed great. During the summer that would be great for two for dinner with no cooking . Add some tuna or shrimp for a complete meal. No heating up the kitchen required. Thanks for the ideas.

Costco is finicky and rightfully so. Nice to see they have high standards for their fresh foods. I have used the bakery department and meat/fish department, and always excellent service. Can't say enough good things about my local Costco.

Costco does have some great prepared foods. The Greek salad with all those fresh vegetables and Feta cheese and dressing looks so good. I have had their stuffed salmon before and it is fresh with a lot of flavor. With everything together, that is one serious delicious looking meal. Glad that you both liked it. 😋

I used to buy these at Sam's for years when they were $18-$22 for four. But yes, now they are $36 or more, so I quit buying. I would cook mine a little longer because I liked a browned crust on bottom. I always pared mine with buttered peas, from frozen, not canned (yuk). But they are delicious. I now get these pre-made salmon patties at Krogers in the fish dept. that aren't stuffed, but only 2 for $5. Fry them up in a pan and they are delicious too.

That is a nice good-looking quick simple meal. When you're not in the mood to do much even picking up takeout , or not in the mood to cook, or have had a long day. Also, healthier and tastier than some of the takeout. It's been great that the grocery stores have those put together meals. I have grocery stores around me that do the same. It would be nice to have a video of your home-cooked meal like shrimp and grits. Would love to see that in the future!

I have been dying to try that salad. We are not salmon fans but it looks great. Great tip on the vacuum sealer, last week my husband smoked baby back ribs and as I vacuum-packed the leftovers, I could see the juice being sucked out. I will freeze them first next time, I never knew that. Thanks for sharing. Do you have a Sam's Club in your area? I find the premade meals at Sam's delicious and better sized for two. Thanks for sharing.

Great options for dinner, less expensive than eating out, that salad looks amazing!! I would add a can of rinsed and drained chick peas to it and that would be a complete meal. The imitation crabmeat is not something I like, growing up on Jersey blue claw crabs, hard to eat anything but that. I'm new to your channel, hope you do more of these types of videos, really enjoyed it. And yes to Costco Frozen Wild caught Alaskan salmon and their Alaskan canned salmon, excellent products

I'm fairly new at cooking for 1-2 people so your answer would really help...you said you would cook half of this and freeze the other half. When you are ready to cook the frozen items you do this to, how do you cook...get it at room temperature and cook per original directions? Do you keep it in the container food comes in or do you put in another container then put into a baking dish.
I would take the part I didn’t cook out and put it in a Ziploc or a storage container and just stick it directly in the freezer like that. When you’re going to want to cook it get it out the night before and put it in the refrigerator. It will thaw out overnight. Then keep the original instructions in the Ziploc or in the storage container and then cook it directly from the refrigerator like you would’ve originally when you bought it. You should not have any problem.

It was, we just filmed that last week and we ate the other two pieces last night and they were just as good. I think it was because we only froze them for like a week.

I have baked the salmon but I take some mayonnaise and brush some mayonnaise on the salmon not much but it helps keep the salmon moist.

I make that salad BUT, always use white onion, colored red and orange sweet peppers(on sal for 99 cents), organic slim cucumber, catamaran olive and Greek goats milk feta low sodium. Then my dressing of choice is Garlic Expressions. Cheese and dressing at Walmart. Dressing also sold at Kroger but not the cheese.

It looks delicious! So much of the crabmeat in stores - unless it's in a can - is really imitation crabmeat meaning it's a bunch of cheap fish mixed together to make it taste like crab. The long list of ingredients on the salmon makes me believe the crab is the "imitation" crabmeat.
It was very good, but it would definitely was imitation crab meat. But we enjoyed it and for the price. I thought it was a good meal. Thank you for watching.❤️

Costco does sell wild salmon, but there is such a short window for fresh wild caught salmon that it’s only for a short period of time. Keep your eye out for it. It’s usually in the late spring early summer.

We also buy and freeze those ciabatta rolls and my husband will defrost them and make us the most incredible panini sandwiches with them

Good video, I would love it if you would taste test more of their meals. I am not a fan of salmon and the raw vegetables in the salad don’t agree with me so although it looked good I wouldn’t buy these meals. It is a good deal when you get two meals out of it and very healthy too.

Gee Looks good only I'm carnivore so it would be the salmon with just some good crab meat and some, maybe, a smigdon of Old Bay in the crab meat. No salad but 2 of those salmon. Costco to pick up my meds. Will checkout the salmon then.

Being Greek myself I do have to say I was quite impressed with all the ingredients. The only thing I would recommend is in the future not putting the entire dressing if your goal is to also eat it the next day. Otherwise everything just gets to be a soggy mess.
It's preferable to just take some on another plate and dress only what you're going to eat in that moment.
