As my adventures in Belize continued, I set out to find a secret beach! Along the way, I made a few stops and tried some local foods in San Pedro, Belize!

PUR BOUTIQUE: At this open-air taco bar and grill, I enjoyed a delicious and potent rum punch with rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, Blue Curacao, a lime, and a cherry.
ROADSIDE STAND: At this stand, 3.5 miles from the bridge, I had some fresh coconut water mixed with rum!
SECRET BEACH: Here, I headed to a restaurant called Sunset Palace, where you can eat at tables on the sand bar in the water! I had a Dirty Banana (a creamy rum drink containing bananas and chocolate syrup) and some unbelievable conch ceviche.
BARS & BEACH: Near the Secret Beach, we met some craft vendors and tried an Iguana Punch at a nearby bar. Outside was a vendor who makes gorgeous slate carvings, including the Mayan calendar! Then, we had more coconut water and rum at another bar.
CROCODILES: We ended our day at sundown at a pier overlooking a body of water where crocodiles live. Just don’t accidentally fall in like I did!

..Both. of you falling in the water...all part of the adventure in the tropics....rum punch w/lots of ice...happiness in a glass lol...also coconut water/ice/rum...very tasty...refreshing and the Red Snapper looke really well fried with all the salads...great meals there...Great destination for a real vacation and the Iguana Punch...very colorful. I like that they decorated that cocktail with Culantro, which I can only grow here because I can’t find it in the stores unless I’m in a Latin community. Now I wanna go to Belize.
You grow your own culantro!? How does it grow in the Florida weather?
@@Davidsbeenhere Because I’ve just moved here I haven’t planted my seeds yet but when I was in Pennsylvania I’ve grown it all the time in the spring and summer. I think it will do well. I can always bring the plant in if it gets too hot for it I have to gauge in see how it goes. If I’m successful I’ll let you know. I also use it when I make Sofrito

Hey David. You are one helluva a wild and crazy guy. I watched this one with my mouth wide open, seeing how much alcohol you drank. That one with snake in it was just crazy. I didn't know that the iguana changed colours too. It should have been called the chameleon or 24 hour drink. We call the chameleon 24 hours because it changes colours every 24 hours. One question: is there a reason why it's called 'secret island'? 🤔. That place is so cool. Last but not least: why don't they fix that wooden bridge?. You and Nathan falling into the water with the crocodile nearby was terrifying to see. Good thing you were both ok. Didn't you get a little buzzed after drinking all that alcohol?😮😅. I think this is the first video that I have seen where you were actually care free, as if you were on vacation, but I know that it was hard work, right!!!? This one was so relaxing to watch, though. Good job. See how much fun it is in the Caribbean: like the saying goes, "it's better in the Caribbean". Fun in the sun. And, yes, Belize is considered part of the Caribbean because of it's Caribbean sea shore/coastlines.🤗❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦

Coconut vendor is such a nut, exactly coconut size. He should offer it to customers to take a sip before pouring the rum. Nut threw away coconut water.
