After arriving in San Pedro, Belize the previous day, my first order of business was to head to one of the country’s most famous tourist destinations: the Blue Hole!

RUM CREAM COFFEE: I started my day with a jolt and a bit of a buzz at Midtown Coffee Bar, where I got a rum cream coffee. It was like a spiked Greek frappe!
FRY JACKS: Next, I headed over to The Fry Jack House to try a popular Belizean dish called fry jacks, which consist of a fried flatbread topped with various ingredients. You can get ones topped with chicken, sausage, egg, and bacon, but I went with a sweet one topped with homenade Nutella!
DARIO’S MEAT PIES: Here, I tried a delicious and gravy-rich meat pie that had a delicious and slightly spicy kick of heat!
CORNMEAL SANDWICH: I also tried a sandwich made from two cornmeal patties with meat and melted cheese in-between them.
BELIKIN STORE: At the Belikin Store, I tried a refreshing Belikin beer, the official beer of Belize!
THE BLUE HOLE: Finally, to end our morning, we hopped a flight on Tropic Air to the famous Blue Hole. It costs $291 USD and lasts for one hour. The Blue Hole is breathtaking from above. It’s no wonder is the most popular tourist attraction in Belize!

Rum/coffe ...seems like it would taste good...the dough being looks like the fry bake in T/T...meat pies looked good ....lots of street foods there....And The Blue Hole...looks awesome from the Aerial view... Hey David. Just off your live. Glad you got your 100 likes. This Irish cream cold 🧋looks amazing. Whip cream for me please. Oh. She makes the fry Jack to order. Hot and yummy 😋. That size is good. Don’t need all too much sweet. The bigger ones for 🥓🍳🧀 or 🍗🦞🦀 or 🍤. Yes a meat pie please. Guyana makes their patties that shape. Didn’t expect the saucy interior. Looks delish. Carbs left and right of you. Yes with the pepper 🌶️ sauce. The blue hole? Wow. Small plane 🛩️. Oh. So a sky tour? You never land? I’m watching. Oh ok. You do land. But to pick up more ppl. @@JudyT868 hi Judy. There are lots of Guyanese living In Toronto. I used to go often as a child to visit every summer. But my families cooked. Will ask my cousin if she knows of any Guyanese restaurants in Toronto. Im figuring will be more of a take out nature like Chinese food. Im figuring Toronto is like the states. Can google Guyanese restaurants. Have a wonderful weekend. Will get back to you when my cousin gets back to me.

I used to buy a similar one when I lived in Trinidad at a bakery close to where I used to work. I will try to get some. How was your day at work and were you able to stand on your feet? @@cydneystephen2814 thanks Cydney. There is a Guyanese/Chinese restaurant that I used to go to. Very good food, but they don't sell pies. I will Google it. Marlene Pollard told me of a bakery that I should try. I will probably get it at a Guyanese-owned convenience store that sells baked Guyanese treats. Thanks for your help. I saw the Grenadian videos before the Belizian videos, I was wondering how come you could mix up fry jack fish for a bake, but I fully understand now. We Caribbean people usually say jacks. The Blue Hole looks like a girl with pigatails and bow tie.
Good morning David. Just watched you 'live' on your second trip to Belize. Hope all goes well at the chocolate festival. So now back to this series. Everything fried looks delicious. Good thing you said that the spread on the fry jack was homemade Nutella because I was looking for the label. Those meat pies looked like pot pies with the sauce in them. See you were back in a propeller (windjammer) plane. You didn't look scared as you did in Suriname. Good company in Nathan to have with you. Nice scenic flight though. One question: how much Spanish is spoken in Belize? I hear you and the locals speaking Spanish, although I know that English is spoken too. Anyway, nicely done.
