This is the best song I've heard by them. Flows really well. The pride of Flint Michigan in the day.

My next video has been uploading since this morning and should post before midnight.
It's a huge file, equal to 4 standard 45s. The song slowly fades in; that was leveled out by starting at high volume and backing off as the music gets louder. This effect is reversed during a long end fade, but not as smoothly.

    Nice clean up!
Never had any of their albums or singles but a girl who was the daughter of some friends of my parents was into them and I heard them in her bedroom on every visit. She was the only person I knew into them. Poor girl would be subjected to my crazy music when they came to our place.

      This is a masterpiece.
Can't speak of any other Grand Funk song as I haven't heard them.
If I get adventurous I'll transcribe the flip.
Up next another masterpiece from the UK, all 11-plus minutes of it!

I loved GFRR when I was 10 to 12. The red album and Live Album both have spectacular moments. The were for a year or two the biggest band in the US, selling out Shea Stadium. But the are the kind of band Id outgrow, especially after hearing their cover of 'Gimmie Shelter'

@@johnryan3913 I sold many copies of their LPs at flea markets and my own store.
Just never got around to exploring their catalog. This song however is classic!

The girl I mentioned was 12, 13 and I was a few years older. She had everything up to the time which was 1972 when I last hung out with her.

@@AnnieVanAuken I have a guess what the 11 minute UK song might be. Is it by a very popular group?
