There are some sync issues, I'm aware of them. Capturing consoles on capture cards means inconsistent framerates so it's hard to make it 100% in sync. Appreciate the feedback though and will try to keep on fixing it :)

I love how to the audience kratos’s voice may be super gruff and deep and scary, but Atreus literally grew up with him so his father having such a deep voice is totally normal? I imagine them meeting other people and they’re all scared of Kratos but this little boy friggin sasses at him and asks if he hurt his back

This line hurts so much more when in the novel, right before Atreus says that, Kratos had been thinking about Faye and refused to relinquish her ashes to their son even for a moment because to Kratos, it symbolizes that she's no longer by his side and that tears him up. He knew his grief on losing his wife (they're officially married) would surface if he showed more emotion about it and it distract them from their goal.

Midgard is so sad in this game. Every village you find is full of bodies or abandoned, every fortress and market is in ruins, the whole realm feels post apocalyptic. Really adds emphasis to the Aesir as antagonists when they don't seem to give a damn that their worshippers are all gone.

@@Fukei_Mono in the mythology, Loki really wasn't much of a bad guy. He helped Odin out a hell of a lot, although it did usually benefit him, and the few times he snapped it was either justified, he was drunk, or it was just an example of anger issues. The main reason he was called the god of mischief was just because he was clever, and used his wits before his muscles. Fits Trey-Trey's (potential) characterization pretty well.

Brok died long ago in a forging accident and Sindri had to go to Helheim to find the pieces of his soul and restore him to life but missed one of the fragments. It's why Brok is blue while Sindri is normal. And why Brok seems to move so stiffly in game. He is living in a formerly dead body.
Fun fact: the reason Kratos calls Atreus "Boy" throughout most of the game is because for a majority of the time while they were recording Atreus didn't have a name in the script
really?? and I here thought that it's solely a character development thing, because Kratos only calls him "son" at the very end of the game... the more you know :))

after ragnarok, i see how atreus never thought it weird that his dad could lift up trees and rocks and all of that with this bare hands. because now we know faye is also capable of doing those things and presuming he grew up isolated besides his mom and dad, it's no wonder he thought everyone could just do that. very interesting!

It does make sense though, as its implied she was the reason kratos was able to change, able to calm him and that he was hopelessly in love with her, So it makes sense that he'd do anything to honor her, after all she did for him, and why hes not angry with her at the end of the game.

It's cool to see how they wrote Kratos in this one. He feels like he's not supposed to show emotions. The audience is left to wonder exactly why. Maybe it's because he doesn't want to get attached and lose Atraeus, going through the same misery he has already before with his previous family. Maybe it's because he thinks Atraeus needs to be hardened and battle-ready, and that affection will prevent that. Maybe it's because he genuinely thinks that he is supposed to be strong, and that affection is not something strong men show. Whatever it is, it's clear there's a battle going on in his head and his heart, but "winning" the battle is probably opposite to what he currently thinks it is.
