These videos actually helped me get over the fear of eating in front of people to some degree. Like any illness, *not eating* is a daily struggle, but it did help me a lot. It helped to lower the anxiety for me.
Keith, I’m not sure if you know this, or if you’ll even see this comment, but these eat the menu episodes are seriously helping so many people in the ED community, myself included. When I’m having a bad day I just pop on one of these videos and suddenly I’m able to eat something with you. Your energy just makes it feel… okay! I know I’m not alone in this because I’ve talked to many others about it. I genuinely thank you for this💙

hey keith i just wanted to say that as someone who struggles with an ED these videos you probably view as just silly entertainment are actually really helpful. i can sit with you and eat and feel good about it. thank you.

I actually enjoy watching these videos for a similar reason! I've got some serious aversion and anxiety issues around food that stem from a physical illness, so it often makes me anxious to eat heavy foods or a large meal. But watching Keith has definitely made it easier to sit down and eat something substantial- I actually made some soup and naan to have while I watched this!

I'm loving how much Keith's been branching out with this series. The fact that he can now go out and eat inside restaurants instead of just ordering to go is so cool, and a true testament to how far this series has come!
I feel like there’s a pressure on him to like everything when he’s in the actual restaurant, i prefer when they order to go
I prefer when they're not in restaurant. He can be more candid and honest, instead of having his reviews editorialized. It's why I've always preferred ETM over Julia Tries Everything from Delish.
He always could've eaten in the restaurant. I believe he chose not to.
Pretty sure COVID for the last 2 years had part of why.

Small correction: Japchae glass noodles are made from sweet potato starch, not rice! (If they were rice noodles, they would be white and opaque, not clear and colorless.)
Also, the sweet sausage in the fried rice is called lap cheong.

I live alone. Far away from my family and have a normal 9 - 5 job. I dont have an eating disorder but it gets so lonely eating alone all the time..... Ill put these videos on and then I dont feel so alone anymore. It feels like I have a friend eating with me, instead of just me in my small apartment.
I struggle with eating often enough, and living alone makes it worse- ur comment is SO valid and its a really smart use of youtube as a helpful resource!

@@Ailieorz usually buffets have a sign saying items on the buffet are prepared in a kitchen with allergens. people have different level of allergies, a severe allergy, you probably wouldn't go to a buffet at all
The fact that Keith can pick up on the hint of cheese on a pretzel bread that was next to a cheese tray is amazing. He’s like a bloodhound. I also can’t get enough of him I king up hits of ingredients as he eats and perfectly describes flavor profiles ❤

I'm born and raised in Vegas and I went to this buffet for the first time in January of this year.
Don't get me wrong, the food is AMAZING but I legit felt like I was dying afterwards. I've never been so full that I felt like my stomach was just going to rip open. And the heaviness of all of it. It felt like it took 2 hours to walk back to the parking garage when really it was only like 10 minutes.
I remember getting home and just laying down for the rest of the night with soft Christmas music playing in the background to calm me and my tummy. I think I cried at one point because I thought this was the end for me.
I'm proud of Keith and always impressed and I hope his tummy was okay after this.

At 40:00 you can actually pretty clearly notice the edit. Keith goes from saying goodbye to Jonathan, he's delirious but still sitting up, when he's introducing dessert he's pretty much laying down and the table is messier than before
Yes! It also looks like there's some fries on the table which weren't tasted before so maybe that was the meat section that was cut out??? Keith definitely looks like he has the meat sweats

Keith has become very articulate in describing food nuances like texture and flavor profiles because of this show! I love hearing how he describes food because it's always colorful but precise.
I never fully realised how good Keith was at describing food until the food truck video. No hate to Ned and Zach but there was such a big difference when Keith was describing the food compared to when Zach and Ned described the food.
Now it totally makes sense why the least best was inexplicably missing, that part must have been cut with Ned in it...

I love how Keith is simultaneously so white and also so knowledgeable about food from different cultures. Like I get that those are not mutually exclusive categories and that food is his brand but it’s not that common so it’s nice to see.

right ??? keith and josh from gmm are the best examples and my personal favs of white people that are so white but have love for food AND crazy levels of knowledge about the food and cultures they come from. cos there's always the people who like foods from other cultures but it doesn't go that far beyond "i love sushi !!!!!!" and that's it. but they both are such knowledgeable people and so damn respectful

I so appreciate 2nd Try's commitment to captioning videos, especially these longer ones! I know it's greatly appreciated by people like myself with sensory processing issues and viewers that are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. So many bigger channels don't even bother to upload CCs, either ignoring accessibility altogether or doing the bare minimum by turning on auto generated captions which are insanely bad.
Whoever works on the transcription and captioning of Try Guy videos -- thank you, your work is very much appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed!!!
They actually outsource. I used to do captioning and I actually did a try guys video a couple years ago. So its most likely a different person every time

I almost wish he would do these eps over 2 days- easier on himself. I kinda get Hunger Games Capitol vibes when he eats so many things in one episode clearly having a tough time by the end. But he might be exaggerating for effect. And the food drunkenness is one if the main comedic points.
Maybe a day for each section? 2 days seems not enough for the complete menu 😅
I think it should be a 3 part series:
Day 1: soups, salads, small plates , skinny menu and brunch items
Day 2: alll the entrees
Day 3: all the desserts
Please pay the editors extra, these are incredibly made to cut Ned out, literally so good

I love that Keith always asks his guests to talk about the projects and things they have going on in their lives. It reminds of when he talks about it in their documentary. Lifting up them as a group, them as individuals, and those around them that they care about. I hope they are able to keep that same goal and be able to be real with each other throughout a very difficult (professionally and personally) situation. It hurt my heart going back and watching the documentary now. I wish everyone that was impacted all the healing from what I know is a VERY hard thing to pick up the pieces and go forward from.

Ariel didn’t and hasn’t said she’s getting divorced.
The whole thing is sad for everyone - and also, with all due respect, talent wise we aren’t losing anything (unless we lose Ariel too) - like there have been so many new talents introduced my favorites are YB and Miles and since Ned was one of the “main guys” he just took up more space even though he shined a lot less than these newer folks - Zach is a comedy genius and in on the trends, Keith is incredible at improv and is so good at including people and bringing the energy, Eugene has such a dry humor and is super witty, smart - and then there was an overgrown frat boy who would often put other people down like miles + Zach to try to be funny - idk like if it was anyone else idk where the try guys would be not that this is a good thing at all - just simply that they absolutely will be okay and will continue to thrive - also wishing healing to Ariel and Will and the kids and staff
Ned has always bothered me because other than the "my wife" thing (or, honestly, maybe that's a GREAT example) he never seemed like he had his own personalityーjust people that he knew, places that he went to school, and a sports team that he liked. The guys all joked about how "Ned dresses like how Eugene used to dress", but honestly... I feel like he started acting more like Keith, too? Specifically Keith's bit in Without a Recipe where he gets progressively more angry and pretend picks fights with the judgesーthere were a couple times where Ned would do that and I was like "???" Not to say that Keith invented "pretending to be angry" but it feels so obvious like a Keith bit every time he did it. His need to be competitive with Eugene was also really annoying because Eugene was just... standing there. Vibing.
I feel like every 2 or 3 Try Guys videos I watch, I learn something NEW about the other guys, y'know? "Oh, Keith has three brothers?" "Oh, Zach is (mostly) vegan now?" "Oh, Eugene's boyfriend does most of the cooking/housework at home?" The most I've learned about Ned in the last 5 years is his kids names, his wife's name, where he used to work, where he went to school, red is his favorite color, and that he likes to bake bread on the weekends.

Thank you, I felt crazy because his disingenuousness was what pulled me away from the channel in the last year or so. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who felt weird about him 😅
@@la_gobba_di_aigor yeah when I listened to the astrology podcast I stopped watching the try guys bc Ned was so rude and condescending to Eugene about it that I just couldn’t stomach his side of things anymore- it felt fake and the little bits that did feel genuine were him kinda just being a jerk
I think you’re missing the point of the try guys if you think Ned is too boring or talentless. That’s the point. They’re just normal guys trying crazy things. They’re suppose to be relatable.

They want to be on it, Keith said so. But you have to be invited, and they also host a lot of A listers so I can imagine the channel trying to get them first. But after all the scandal the last few months you can definitely say they’re ‘well-known’ enough by now, so I can imagine a video soon following!

Hey, how do you know that is the truth? The Try Guys is a business corporation ran by Keith, Zach, Ned and Eugene. If you watch the No Recipe series, all of the men are together if you're missing their presence. Also, their new food network show just came out. If you're missing specifically Zach, he runs a podcast called guilty please along side Kelsey Darragh and Garrick Bernard. If you're missing Eugene a new diving episode was put out a few weeks ago. Along side their No recipe food network show. If you're missing Ned, he's in a lot of their podcast and usually there or in regular updating videos. I'm sure Eugene is having upcoming events like supporting Beto & being involved in your local voting he would love you to be apart of. Keith would also love if you came out to support loo burger which is his independent project. If you are a long time you should be supporting them, not trying to tear them down.
Also, has it occurred to you that you are a statistic that drives this content? Business speaking it makes sense to keep up with a series we love that reaches a broad audience.
I definitely appreciate Keith's effort and commitment but think it's also worth keeping in mind that the other guys have other commitments and limitations that are important too! Eugene's artistic/writing projects, Ned's kids, Zach's medical issues that I'm sure make work more difficult, etc. I'm glad they're in a position where they can have a much better work/life balance now than at BF at least.

I know there's definitely a method to the process of bringing keith food for this episode, but I cannot stop imagining the second try crew just sprinting around a massive buffet setup desperately attempting to get one of everything
Okay so Ned must have been there for the steaks and they had to cut it because there's no way this buffet didn't have tons of beef dishes.
Ned covered the steaks and Alex covered the pasta section. If it wasn’t for these terrible people this video would have shown more food

And wouldn’t she report Ned sooner if that was the case? As of now it looks like it was consensual. If in doubt wait until you learn more information.

She could have said no. Ned is more in the wrong because he was in the position of power. But because we don’t know everything that happened between those two it is just tricky.

i love unhinged johnathan and keith they’re so great together bc they’re both so normal most of the time and then when they let loose they *let loose*
