In india usualy they repaire tire like this, even my uncle own a truck and lot of time we have repaired our tire and this technique really work, my uncles truck runs in pan india level once tire become really thin then we change

It used to be a steel-belted tyre, now it's partly sewn with string. The steel belt is cut and weakened. If that tyre pops under Pressure, better not be near it. I admire what they're trying to do under the circumstances, but the result is outright dangerous. Anyone doing this in my country, NZ, would probably imprisoned for neglect.
Usually no steel belt anymore bro tyres are nowdays use nylone threads similer tyre guy use..Also side cuts fixed like this will not give much issue as they don't run as high speed( hardly go above 70Km/h) as we have in Aus/Nz they will use it in rear with one good tyre. We can afford this safety cause things we get here made at cheap( in china /india/asia)and fixing here cost us more..No one will do this kind of fix here as tyreguy will charge as much as new tyre cost..

Repairing a side-wall is never recommended. Especially in commercial vehicles which are invariably overloaded in India. These persons's skill is great. But is it really worth all the work and effort? The tyre is almost at the end of its running life.

Да они смогут но цену выставят что сам не захочешь, по времини трудозатрат им получится не выгодно пока будут это делать более легких клиентов потеряют.

Прикинь..я такое не куплю. Приезжаю в шиномантажку и если беру бу,в первую очередь проверяю состояние покрышки внутри..есть трещины или был ремонт..все в трещину.. Потому как..поменять колесо в дороге, на груженой машине...это еще тот цирк,а если грунт мягкий...то малореально.
Скоро если так пойдёт ценами на шин то наверное мы тоже задумаемся. С Якутии живу сельской местности задняя шина МТЗ прошлой весной было 18.500 рб после Нового года 41.500рб .

Incredible skill!! American tire shops won't patch a nail holes in a passenger car or light truck tire if the hole is in the tread within an inch of the sidewall. And here you are repairing a heavy truck tire with part of sidewall MISSING. Truly amazing and thanks for sharing.
A weak spot in a sidewall is asking for a blowout. I understand why they are doing it and it is neat but that tire is compromised. Let's just hope it doesn't go on as a steer.
There is a reason,, the patch becomes unvulcanised on the most flexed part of the tyre. I have seen it happen no end of times. Once after the car rolled when the patch came off and the tyre went down

То что он там шил, это чтобы резина лучше намазывалась и не проваливалась в дыру. На прочность эти нитки не влияют. Прочность конструкции нарушена разрывом стальных нитей. Для небольшого давления и малых скоростей пойдёт. Но всё равно полагаю что это до момента загрузки кузова машины и обячной ямы. Давление резко подскочит и в слабом месте порвётся.
I have repaired one tyre of my car by such workers and its almost 2.5 years since repair and i am still using it without any problem even driving at a speed of 120+ km/h...

Yes, you are absolutely right. Better go tell them what they have been doing is so wrong for all these years. Not all countries work around wasteful Western standards where anything less than perfect for the most extreme situation is not deemed useful.
In such side wall failure cases we SCRAPPED the tyre, rather marked 2nd.quality, it is the risk of human lives. In such repair there must chances of voids/air pocket in it, on road it will increase and failure the tyre.

It does .. the speeds are limited to 30-35mph that too rarely. Mostly they may be engaged in short distance local trips

That's one of those repairs that looks great after if finished, but the tire will still blowout after a few hundred miles as it's all looks!

Yes, you are absolutely right. Better go tell them what they have been doing is so wrong for all these years. Not all countries work around wasteful Western standards where anything less than perfect for the most extreme situation is not deemed useful.
In such side wall failure cases we SCRAPPED the tyre, rather marked 2nd.quality, it is the risk of human lives. In such repair there must chances of voids/air pocket in it, on road it will increase and failure the tyre.
Don't worry these guys have been in this kind of bussiness for a long time.
