    As a travel card ok but dont use for your savings..if you want to move large amount to book and pay for your holiday or car then youll run into hassle and trouble

      Hi there! Thanks for getting in touch - you should be able to activate your Revolut card in the app. Here are some step-by-step instructions from Revolut on how to do it - help.revolut.com/help/cards/card-activation/how-do-i-activate-a-card/
      Hope that helps 😊

      Do yourself a favour and don't activate it and cancel your account. They aren't a bank so you aren't protected like you are when you use a bank. Look up all the news articles about this company.

      @@FierceMamma Hiya! Revolut have now been granted their banking licence. However, they are currently still operating as an e-money provider until they get their banking systems in place to operate properly as a bank - so keep an eye out for that.

      @@FinderUK just means customers don''t have the same protections afforded to bank customers

    • @FinderUK
      @FinderUK  7 дней назад

      @@FierceMamma this is true while they set up their banking systems. But they are still currently regulated by the FCA, which means Revolut has to hold all client funds in a “segregated account” at a licensed UK bank. This means that users’ money is kept separate from Revolut’s finances and that Revolut cannot invest it. So, even if something were to happen to Revolut as a company, your money couldn’t be used to pay off its debts.
      But you are right, if you wanted protection like a traditional bank account straight away you would want to look at another provider that is already set up as a fully-licensed bank.

    When using my card abroad it changed me so I dont know what im doing wrong

    • @FinderUK

      Did you use your card abroad on a weekend? If so, Revolut charge a 1% weekend fee for exchanging your currency. You can avoid this fee by exchanging currency in your Revolut account before the weekend fees kick in. Hope that helps!

    Comparing revoluts car excess insurance as if it is the same as monzos breakdown cover is really unfair. Two completely different products. Other than that, fair summary

    if i cancel my premium trial how much do i have to pay for the card?

    • @FinderUK
      @FinderUK  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi there! It depends on when you cancel your paid plan, if it's after 14 days you may be charged a final month's subscription and then a break fee equal to 2 month's subscription. If you cancel before 14 days, Revolut will refund the subscription but you will be charged for the delivery of your card and the Premium card may be deactivated. You can find more information here - www.revolut.com/legal/paid-plans/
