I just made account at Monzo but they refused to give me a credit card flex 😢but I found only one thing why I gonna use monzo ,no fees for international transactions,because in my current Barclays is 2.99% what is crazy if you pay everything with card on holidays
If your account is inEuros and you buy Euro marked stock (usually under germany flag) do yo ustill have to pay some exchange fee, and why is this if so? Does it show you your portfolios daily gain/loss in Euros?
Does the £800 have to be in one go and does it have to stay in the account or can be taken out immediately?

Hiya! We've taken a look at Barclays' FAQs and it mentions opening a "sole Barclays Bank Account or Premiere Current Account" so I don't think you can make the switch with a joint account, I'm afraid. Hope that helps
That's so weird UK market is so limited in free lounges access! Many Ukrainian banks offer free unlim visits to the same 1100+ lounges for about 5-20 pounds a month bank fee, or even without monthly/yearly fee at all if you spend about 2000 pounds per month. Why UK banks don't provide the equivalent level of service to their customers?
For somebody who might know how to cook I'm sure if you chop up the pieces it'll cook very quickly and evenly instead of being a donut shaped. 🤷
Hi guys, did you know that Trading212 add 0.5% to the exchange rate when you trade in a currency other than your account currency which is as they state but when your trade is a loosing trade, they deduct -0.5% from the exchange rate which increases your losses! That has cost me £1,820 over 3 months !!

Hiya! Thanks for the lovely feedback. As long as you pay in the cash before any deadlines (and meet the other eligibility criteria), you can just withdraw whenever you want and you should still qualify for the cash. Hope that helps
It is not on credit, it is debit. Cash has no accountability. While card leaves a record that can be checked.
No need to have a Revolut account in 2024. Debit card fee free foreign spending in the norm with a lot of banks now, the stock trading is a rip off and don’t even start me with their crypto service. It’s good as a secondary account for online purchases where you don’t want to store you main card details, good app but that’s about it

Hiya! Yes, you can transfer your junior ISA to another provider. And your child can have 1 cash junior ISA and 1 stocks and shares junior ISA - but their annual allowance will still be just £9,000 a year across the 2 accounts. Hope that helps!

In theory, yes. Once you've met all the eligibility criteria and received your £175, you could switch again. I'd make sure you have the cash first, as switching before you jump through all the hoops required to get the cash might mean you lose out. Hope that helps!

Hello! Great question. You can make up to 6 individual cash withdrawals a day, but the total daily limit is £300. So you could make 6 cash withdrawals of £50 in 1 day, totalling £300, for example. Hope that helps 😊

i did not hear anything about trading tools, such as, macd, moving averages, weighted moving averages etc, which suggests you don't have, is this the case ?
Trading 212 lets you set up pattern recognition tools on the advanced price charts with around 50 technical indicators (including a variety of moving averages) you can use but we're bigger advocates of using the platform for long-term investing rather than short-term trading.
@@FinderUK pattern recognition is very limiting, and only proves to mess your head up more than you need, and is not really useful as an indicator to succeessful winning trades, but thanks for your reply it has helped me to not waste my time with this platform,

I believe there aren't any specifications for the envelope - but you either send tracked for a fee for the stamp (which Monzo recommend) or free but just putting "FREEPOST MONZO" on the envelope. As long as the envelope is secure, postage has been paid where relevant and you can read the writing, that should get to Monzo.
