I love these videos, always super well made and with attention to the details that are important to simmers. I also enjoy the visual aspect of them, they have high production values (if that can be said of flight sim vids?) and always look well edited and aesthetically considered. I especially like the little montage cuts you do, with the relaxing music. The taxi montage you often do is great as well, the airports you have are always high quality and its great to see more of them, especially when considering buying a new one! Anyways, I think you are my most-visited channel here on YT, so thanks for all the hard work!

Thanks for this video, was waiting for xplane for ages. So thanks for flying in x plane this time, really cool. Would love to see more of those x plane videos, especially in the 732. About the Generator Drive Disconnect switches (those under a glass layer that couldn't come on despite clicking them several times). Well, it's normal that you couldn't get any electrical power from the generators, since clicking those buttons actually disconnect the generator from the engine when pressed. The generators can then only be reconnected manually during maintenance. So basically you should never touch those guarded switches during a normal flight, or you'll break the generators !
Matt if you click the top right screw on the altimeter when you have set the qnh it will sync the other two altimeters for you. Saves on all that scanning about.
At the start I thought you were going to say "execute the perf init page" or something... then you killed off the flight attendant... had me almost in tears that bit :D
Ive been on the flight deck of a 757-200, i wrote a letter to the pilot and asked the cabin attendee to take it to him. I asked him questions about being a pilot, the usual stuff asked by an aspiring pilot. He told me at the end of the flight once everybody has de boarded i could go in and sit. It was cool as fuck. it was at Heraklion in crete from glasgow. One of the coolest experiances ive ever had. Thomas cook was the airline. It would be so cool to have that asyour office. Just sitting on the ground looking at all the planes parked, and looking at him turning some stuff off and calculating stuff just looked so interesting. What a guy, You should try it, just write them a letter and ask if you can go through at the end!

Matt this is by far my favourite video of yours but a quick word of advice go to FlywithLua settings on the left hand side and turn your light intensity down it will make the lights look smaller and more realistic

My favorite aircraft for XP10 are by far the Carenado C208 and new PC12. I enjoy shorter flights, not so much into log range stuff in my own sim at home. But in real life, the longer the better!!
Useful rule of thumb....take your altitude (minus the zeros) x 3 then add 1nm per 10kts of airspeed you need to loose. Also take wind into consideration-tail wind- add/headwind -subtract. And finally weight...heavier - add/lighter-subtract :-)

The reason why "VNAV unavailable" happens is because it thinks something in the PERF page is wrong whether it be cost index, wind, cruise altitude, etc. This is talked about on the .org forums...
Hey Matt, great videos! There's a United A320 at DIA loaded with skiers and their heavy gear, they want to Eagle County Airport (KEGE), with snowy conditions and a low cloud banks. Pls report to the flight deck. :-)
The "skeleton" view is because when you're in the VC, the 757 will save you a few FPS by not loading the cabin. You could either do like you did, or go to an outside view THEN go to the wing view. I don't like the AC sound too, so I uploaded a new one to the X-Plane forums. Search for "757 flight factor new AC sound". You'll like it :)
You can instantly cure the Flight attendant problem if you attach the air-cart and turn the left pax on and set the cabin temperature to auto and he shouldn't bother you again unless you forget the safety briefing
+Matt Davies I have found that Nvidia shadow play works but you have to make XP windowed first then laucnh shadow play then fullscreen XP. That is of course if you have an NV GPU. Great vid.
Hi Matt, Yesterday SP3 for the Aerosoft Airbus released and I believe shared cockpit is included. Would you be interested in doing a test flight in the same flight deck if that doesn't sound bad?
You actually Broke the generators when clicking on "DRIVE" because it's the drive disconnect button you don't touch it unless you have an issue with the generator, it will be disabled. The reconnect of drive can only be done by ground maintenance…

I actually like this plane, but it is a bit like buggy, cause every flight goes wrong and problems all the time, so I refuse to fly with it even if I have it :/ xD
Good video :). But you flew the wrong way out of Tenerife 🙈 They always fly in with the island to the left and fly out with the island to the left. Also there is a no fly zone over Tenerife due to it being one of the best places in the world to view the sky/outer space. Abit of free knowledge there for you all 😂😂

It may be that your systems are failing because your system memory is being fragmented during the flight. I have noticed that when I defrag my memory (using system mechanic professional) in flight that my systems work again. Gosh that was a nice plug for System Mechanic Professional. Humm... buuuttt it works for me.

Nice video. My dad used to fly the B757 for BA but now he is on the A319/A320/A321. Please could I have some tips as to how to get x-plane looking so good eg what airport scenery to download and what general scenery and plugins to have. I run on a Mac so not to big because it will slow it down! Thanks

Old video but the "skeleton" airplane thing is actually a feature not a bug. It doesn't draw the cabin when it doesn't need to for better performance.

Yes. It's kind of picky but still user error. Most people don't know this when first getting the aircraft, including me when I first got it.
