In this epidosde of OYZ, the boys take on the second leg of our 120 mile circumnavigation of the Isle of Arran. Starting in Lamlash bay they have to fight huge waves and crazy swells to make it to their campsite in Lochranza in one piece.
Watch as 2 teams of heroic individuals take on the challenge in true OYZ style, paying a visit to the Holy Island, Pladda lighthouse, the Black Caves and King's Caves on the way.

OYZ
I am addicted to this series, get up OYZ
Magical experience, well done boys. OYZ!!!
These videos are just getting better. One tip, turn your backing music down a tad so we don’t miss any of your comments. These are becoming very informative like a documentary being very educational, and still entertaining, again boys keep living outside your zone, and I wish I was part of your adventure family.
Thanks mate, we will bare that in mind! We will mate, well we have some fan challenges this year that you could get involved with, more info to come soon on Instagram 🧡
A beautiful adventure in a dingy. Your camera work shows how gorgeous your island is.
Thanks Brian, I’m
Glad you enjoyed the video
Very beautiful video 👍
Favourite RUclips series 👏👏
What an insane day 🔥
8:24 haha 😂
Looking like this leg was tougher than your first! Well done lads! The farm you passed looks like an open water mussel farm.
It was much more of a test for the boats like! And thanks for your input, learn something new every day!
Those boat world Rangemasters 420s are mint!
Fully recommended coach
Mal wieder unglaublich🧡
Noch einmal danke 🧡
Unreal!! Sibs are great
So much fun! 4x4 of the sea
Awesome lads
Glad you enjoyed
1.30 looks like mussel farms or mussel Ropes
Definitely!
Fantastic adventure lads, thought you might be pushing it with those inflatables but they handled it well.
Aye an inflatable is like a 4x4 of the ocean
@@OutsideYourZone Thats a great way to describe them, that sure was an adventure you will never forget, well done lads for letting us oldies share in your youth, stay safe.
Many more great adventures to come! Remember you are never to old to start! Stay fresh
Im waiting for you at Elba Island, Italia...👍👍👍
We will be there next year coach
You boys are awesome. I live in the states and I just bought a boat from boat world Uk and I’ve got a second hand 4hp suzuki with a 6 carb. Planning on spending a lot of time on the isle of Arran. I’m really looking for a buddy with a boat to do Arran to the mainland. So if you guys or any of your viewers are up for this in July hit me up. Love the videos boys 👏 and Arran is just my favorite place in the world.
Cheers Philip, we will be on Bute in July, that is the neighbouring island
Ahh man will look out for you boys for sure. Can’t get enough of your videos. I’ve got 5 weeks till I go everything is bought but I just can’t touch it yet 😜all the best guys for future adventures
Get in Philip, make sure to get in touch and we will show you our new boat
Would you recommend a 3m inflatable on the sea ? With a 3hp engine
I’m new to this and loving the vids lads
If you’re going to get a 3m, make sure it has an aluminium deck so it has a higher rating, and we would recommend at least an 8hp outboard. Always take the precautions, eg life jackets, VHF etc and only go out when the conditions are good. We hope you enjoy your adventures and thanks so much for the comment 🧡
mint
Damm these guys leaving my dream on a dingy i barley go out 1 mile tho 😂😂 I can swim but more scared of big sharks taking my dingy down tho
Where are you from and what dingy do you have? Keep adventuring 🧡
Hi. Better wear thick neoprene wetsuits and life jackets or survival suits. Great adventure, my very best regards.
Thanks for the tip!
Cool 😎 been looking at a stryker 500, very similar to the watercraft you have there. Dont work in metric but its about 16'5" long. I'll be carrying a lot of gear for gold prospecting in rivers, so with currents im thinking 20 or 30 hp kicker. I know their pro series has a bilgewater pump right next the drain plug, an easy addition to yours. Any further out i would want one. Great video, adventurous!
Stryker boats are great
Mussel grow ropes , I think
Can't decide on a 3.8 or 4.2m inflatable boat. I've got a tohatsu 18hp 2stroke. How do u find the 15hp pushing the 420.?
Cheers
Still incredibly good, 2 people can get 20 knots on calm water, more like 22 if you riding solo. Thanks for the comment!
awesome place, thanks for sharing, What size boats have you got. we just bought a 3.8 meter Zodiac.
We have 4.2m sibs, a 3.8 will easily do it though!
Was kayaking through the grey dog tide race off Scarba and we got passed by in interesting zodiac called a futura he took the standing wave at 20 plus knots and boy I thought he would regret it but no it coped amazingly well. Ever heard of a futura zodiac. Hey an adventure for you guys try the north side of the Bass rock ( Firth of Forth) there is a little cave entrance and it leads right under the Bass rock we always looked in on our trips acros the Firth to Pitenweem via the isle of May we used to bivie the night there.
That’s class mate! Keep up the sick adventures
Oh guys that was in my crazy Durham kayak club days long long ago 70’s / 80’s as I said my only excitement is my little Astus 16.1 trimaran but with good wind it’s into the teens knots ( well just)
That’s class bro, you need to get that tri Marian up the west coast of Scotland
Oh that my dear friends the west coast I mean is the proverbial bridge to far. unfortunately my lovely Linda has breast cancer with secondaries so I’m a stay at home mostly old guy, but at least I’ve got the Farne islands on my door step and had some great little trips around those rocks this summer and on my own I never tire of them.
What would you say the size of those swells were? I am in Alaska SIB guy over here very inspiring.
The Go pro always shrinks the swells, is say about 2m
Ive found another boat called the seapro 420 looks exhactly the same as the boat world 420 but could be better quality as its slightly more pricey would like to see how it compares to the boat world 420 Bill Higham marine sells them but i know nothing of that company and would love to sea a video comparing it to the boat world 420.
👌
I'd love to be able to join you guys with my Whaly 435R, but I'm in NL, Canada.
That’s a shame but awesome to see you watching our videos!
Wish you could mate, love the whalys! Cheers for watching and greetings from the UK
@@OutsideYourZone I know you guys would absolutely love my 435R with 30hp Mercury ;-)
What size inflatable boat is that? And is that Yamaha 25 HP and 15 HP motors two stroke?
Aye they are both twostroke, and the boat is 4.2m
how many hp are your motors?
We had a 15hp and a 20hp
@@OutsideYourZone nice, thanku
mussel lines
Cheers coach, I thought they were
My bath has bigger waves 😂
I think we all know why that is
How long is the boat
2.8m?
4.2m coach, it’s the BOATWORLD Rangemaster 420
You call this rough weather come on man
All in life is relative
