@Focke Wulf I have as well. I have "torture" tested 4 VP9's. Dirt, mud, ice/snow, wet, dry, etc.. They are actually much more reliable than I expected them to be. I bought a p30 sk a year ago. Night sights & 3 mags for $599. What justifies HK prices are polygonal barrel, German quality, every HK is not only test fired at factory but also sighted in. Mine was spot on at 10 yds. They are also very smooth shooting due to dual stage recoil spring and fitted like a glove. HK you will not guess or be disappointed. Also love the paddle mag release once you try it...

As of May 2022 the Masada can be had for less then 400. The optics ready HK VP9 is $750. No one gets double the quality or features with the HK versus the Masada. So on that basis there is no comparison. For $750 I can easily get the Masada and 1000 rounds of 9mm, spend them in training and improve proficiency for way less.
@@reachblowsdick7222 yeah, I tried three different grips/stance and gave up, lol. Never happened on any other gen glock or any other pistol I've ever owned until I bought a glock 19 gen 5 and 19X.

I have both. I don't think the Masada concedes anything. Trigger on the IWI is different and I would say the #1 reason to favor the HK. I personally think the IWI is amazing.

My VP9 Has The Best Striker Fired Trigger (And Yes, I Own A Q5 Match As Well). I Like The IWI, But The Other Reviews I've Seen It Does Shoot Point Of Aim.
If I were in the market today, I"d give a lot of thought to the Masada due to cost/ value difference but I already have (and love!) both a standard VP9 and the SK variant. Where I live, it's been an absolute buyers market for a few years now such that trades are not fiscally wise. Bottom line is that I really like my VP9 and it's already paid for so I'll stick with what I've got.
It’s not really a fair comparison as in a lot of stores the Masada is literally half the price of the HK. That having been said, I think the Masada overall wins out given what you get for your money. Otherwise they are very similar.
Just went back and watched the VP9-L B vid. I wish my notification button was on. I'm noping the optic ready cutout is available now... gonna go check..
The optic cut was available for more than 2 years. You just had to factory order them. H&K made a previously optional feature the default for all. A good decision. Streamlines production.
I’ve owned both and shot both. Love the grip on the vp9 and that extra grip on the back of the vp9. Buuuut I actually shoot the Masada batter, and i prefer the Masada slimmer grip, and it comes optic ready and mine came with a threaded barrel. For $450 Masada all day.
I'm a huge fan of both H&K and IWI. looking at prices for either tactical model today, and the vp9 is more than double the price of the Masada, at that price point the masada is a no brainer, but i'll eventually end up getting both.
I tried the Masada today, and was frankly surprised at how much I disliked the grip and trigger reset. It may be less expensive, but it’s certainly not a pistol I would own.
conghelach Walther PPQ, HK VP9SK, CZ P10S. So far, the best trigger of all the pistols I have tried is on the PPQ Q5 Match. Bear in mind that I don’t own any hammer-fired pistols, so I cannot speak to those. There are some quality pistols whose triggers I personally don’t like-Glock, Springfield, Sig, and Smith being some. Canik triggers aren’t bad, but I cannot bring myself to own a Turkish pistol.
The vp9 should have come out with an optics cut. Now the NEW VP9 will have one, at the same price as the old one. Meaning me and people like me got the finger. Thanks HK.
Im starting to like that IWI... Think I'll grab one next Friday before the price jump to $500 plus!!! Then I'll have to buy a couple rmr's one for my FN509 tactical and this one

Just purchased the HK VP9. I am a big HK fan and have the USP 45, P30 9MM and now the VP9. I know I can rely on all of my HK’s in every respect. You don’t hear of ANY issues/problems with HK’s
My VP9 Has The Best Striker Fired Trigger (And Yes, I Own A Q5 Match As Well). I Like The IWI, But The Other Reviews I've Seen It Does Shoot Point Of Aim.
I bought the p30
Should've looked harder at the vp9
Don't really care for the p30
It shoots 3 inches low at 10 yrds
If I were in the market today, I"d give a lot of thought to the Masada due to cost/ value difference but I already have (and love!) both a standard VP9 and the SK variant. Where I live, it's been an absolute buyers market for a few years now such that trades are not fiscally wise. Bottom line is that I really like my VP9 and it's already paid for so I'll stick with what I've got.
“Shooting em side by side”. Hilarious.
Never understood why the VP9 hasn't received more love. IMO it is the best shooting striker fired weapon on the market.
CZ P10
@@johnutpatel4982 That's my 2nd choice.
The VP9 is one of my favorite handguns. They are excellent.
because of MACs testing..
Definitely the vp9
I LIKE HK BUT KNOWING ME I'm buy both.
Best plan : ) Thanks Jay
VP9 shoots so good at distance it feels like cheating
It’s not really a fair comparison as in a lot of stores the Masada is literally half the price of the HK. That having been said, I think the Masada overall wins out given what you get for your money. Otherwise they are very similar.
Another enlightening review. Thank you!
IWI ANY DAY 👍🏿🏆
I would own either one of them and be proud about it.
I love Walter, HK VP9 and my IWI Masada.
I can find the new HK VP9B for under $600 all day long (e.g. $548.90 shipped).
Masada baby hell yeah good video like always
Have mine a year no complaints
i bought 2 FDE masada today :)
Here 2 years later because iwi is about to release the Masada slim and am wondering how it would compare to the VP9SK
I'm a huge fan of both H&K and IWI. looking at prices for either tactical model today, and the vp9 is more than double the price of the Masada, at that price point the masada is a no brainer, but i'll eventually end up getting both.
😂 hope you went with the vp9.. simply a better pistol
Have the vp 9 and really enjoy shooting it
Wonderful review.
Don you be a machine gun great shooting i watch all your videos i learn alot thx bro 🔫👀🔫🇺🇸
I tried the Masada today, and was frankly surprised at how much I disliked the grip and trigger reset. It may be less expensive, but it’s certainly not a pistol I would own.
What guns trigger do you prefer??
conghelach Walther PPQ, HK VP9SK, CZ P10S.
I own a vp 9 love 💘 it its my ccw carry also
Hk rules...even the name instantly demands respect!
That’s the thing with us in America, spoiled by “names” and get screwed when. The product is crap
Also love to see comparison some of these SAR 9X vs Canik TP9, Masada vs Girsan MC28
I’ll keep my Beretta APX Centurion, but thank you sir 😉
The APX is excellent. Thanks Eric!
Glock 19 killer!
Same here. I love my APX!
I bought the Centurion as well after Sootch reviewed it. For the money you can't get a better gun.
If you move to California you might not. LOL
