Didn't know what to expect, and was surprised. Sidney Poitier is one of those actors that draws you into his character. Not many actors can do that in this age. Watched it on Prime.

I love Sidney he is a man that is worth the money they give him. The story of the movie has probably happened in reality to. Saying no to someone wanting to buy your land. You refuse and they cart you off to get evaluated. Will have to watch

Sydney Poitier, one of my favorite people, a great, great actor… i’m anxious to see him play this role. A true talent, an intellectual, I think it will take enormous talent for him to play this role. The college professor, a brilliant lawyer, an altruistic politician, if there is such a thing, but this role of a simple man seems a bit of a stretch. It seems no different than me, a bit of a dolt, playing a genius on the silver screen.
I have this movie queued up on Amazon, can’t wait!
