  • Crafting an Italian fencing foil with original components and hand fit parts. This foil's specifications matches those found in Luigi Barbasetti's 1902 text, "La Scherma di Spada". The foil includes a shagreen wrapped grip over a maple wood core, enamel-coated steel guard, 35" true ricasso blade, and 3D-printed stainless steel crossbar.

I saw this on the reddit classical fencing page and thought... this looks like benjamin arms.... (I didn't look at who posted it) ... and then checked who made the video.. then checked the poster... got me!!!! lol
nice how you make the grip.... i bought some italian foils years ago from Allstar in parts and only just started to put one together and unsurprisingly one of the parts is missing!! the cheap white plastic grip - but you make it look good (and simple...lol... never is that easy!!) to actually try to make one.....
