This is honestly underrated as fuck for how well made and acted this is and using a already existing formula of wendigos in national parks and expanding upon it with these new tall walkers it honestly deserves more keep up the great work lads
6:30 Watching the light from the torch rise higher and higher as the camper is pulled away by the walker, only for it to fall back to the ground with the only remaining limb... it's truly chilling. Whoever came up with the idea for that scene is a genius!
That shot with the flare rising up, you barely being able to see the gargantuan walker, and then just hearing the character freak the hell out is one of the best ways to reveal your monster. I legitimately got chills from that
@@q12aw50there was to the right remember it's invisible to the naked eye cause of how dark its skin is you can barely see the only bit not lit up around the flare
It's so nice and refreshing to see an analog horror series made out of genuine passion rather than being made for a quick buck, can't wait to see where this story goes! Mad props to everyone who worked hard to make this masterpiece of a series! ❤
Just stumbled upon this series on Instagram last night. Binge watched every video so far. Absolutely love this ARG series! So glad someone is finally making something about cryptids in the National parks!
What I find interesting is that the Walker is a invisible creature. I think now a flare is a more useful tool in this scenario. Not only to signal your location. But to find the creature's location due to the silhouette. And I do find it interesting how the creature instantly eat the campers as if it sucked them up like a straw or. Or just a quick scoop. I wonder if it thought the tent wasn't so edible or couldn't fit in it's mouth because it was way too large or non edible even if it knew a human was in it. And perhaps just toss it aside or up in this case out of frustration.
Correction: Walkers aren't invisible. The reason that they are to the naked eye is that their skin is such a dark color that it absorbs all light, giving off an invisible look
@@SonicSega6521 Is that actually how that would work? Like if they absorb all that light are they not producing any light? I'd assume it would use the light to sustain itself + but seeing it eats people I guess not. I assume it has eyes so wouldnt those produce some kind of light? I don't understand how it works
@lordmike9331 Another interesting note to detail is that despite Walkers having insect/arachnid features. It's implied they produce heat as Ranger Alex states that by using thermal vision they can see Walkers. Possibly they are an unique type of mammal.
The level of quality here is unmatched. I'm a sucker for all kinds of horror, even those with just creepy little photos. But you guys are on another level. Such a great series so far, I love how it goes very quickly from Steve making straightforward informational videos to being so harried by events going on he can barely get through a sentence without his radio going off about some eldritch horror that attacked campers. Very well done
Also if your buddy walks into the woods to investigate something and they get ripped apart by an unseen force don't try to shoot it just run, even if it was just a bear putting a couple rounds in it is just going to make it very upset 😂
Just found this series but I’m loving it so far. The use of the wendigo to kickstart was nice but seeing the other cryptids that live there is so unique and interesting. It makes me wonder if they ever interacted with each other or will at some point. Can’t wait to see more!
Just binged the whole series and this is a gem!!! Absolutely loved each episode and this series really feels very fresh and stands apart from other analog horror series out there right now. Especially with how much of this is live action-I feel like less and less people are actually going out and filming nowadays and I really aprechiate the hardwork you guys put into physically going into the woods to film. Excited to see how this story unfolds!
You guys nail this pretty well with VHS analog horror, it's a shame you guys are not more known for this. I look forward to more of this kind of content! Also, with more world building lore: like what Agencies keep close tabs on this particular National Park. Keep up the great work Buddy Films!
I'd like to make a complaint regarding your park's rental cabins: My family booked a full week, but we had to leave after just one night. The park was beautiful, and I was able to take a nice fishing trip on your lake while my wife went hiking on one of your foot trails - our problem only started when we went back to the rental cabin for the night. The cabins themselves weren't an issue, they were clean and have a nice, rustic appeal. The issue we had was harassment from other campers, and the refusal to enforce the nightly curfew. During the night we stayed there I heard someone outside banging on the door screaming at me to open it. The person outside claimed to be my wife, but she was in the cabin with me. She must have been exhausted, too - all of the noise outside and she didn't even wake up once for it. The banging, begging, and screaming continued for hours, but nobody responded when I called for assistance, at least not until morning. I assume it was all some sort of prank, but I'm not staying another night at a park that won't ensure that visitors follow the basic curfew - especially after your rangers spent over an hour telling me about how important it was to follow it.
I just found you guys, and now im hyped as hell!!! Edit: i did want to ask, what else should we expect from this series, because i feel like we're going to see an interview between the survivor and that one agent.
