Why countries trust Indian space agency over Chinese?

- Even though some countries expressing concerns, there are several nations that maintain cordial ties with China's space agency and have opted to launch their satellites using Chinese rockets. Notably, Pakistan, Venezuela, Ethiopia Algeria and Laos are among the countries that have forged positive relationships with China's space program
some countries have chosen to launch their satellites using China's rockets, such as Pakistan, Venezuela, and Laos. China launched 267 foreign satellites between 2000 and 2021, primarily for commercial purposes. Additionally, some nations have engaged in collaborations with China on various space-related initiatives, including climate science, satellite technology, and space exploration. For instance, France has participated in joint projects with China in these fields.
However, many nations, particularly the West, are cautious of working with China on space-related operations. The primary reasons for mistrusting China are national security, geopolitical tensions, concerns about technology transfer and China's space ambitions, as well as potential quality control and safety issues

The reason is the Indian space agency is not a challenge or threat to the western dominance of space.
On point. Also that india is not an aggressive nation to the wider world. You could not trust China with anything. There is an evil agenda to whatever China does. It is a pity that India finds itself tied to China and Russia in the BRICS group. Is it because that they are two powerful neighbours(Bullies) one has to appease so they do not harm India. I wish India did not have to deal with China and Russia. These two countries deserve to be isolated until they revise their behaviours.
India rely on western countries in many fields but China is FULLY independent from west

There are some who question the relevance of space activities in a developing nation. To us, there is no ambiguity of purpose. We do not have the fantasy of competing with the economically advanced nations in the exploration of the moon or the planets or manned space-flight. But we are convinced that if we are to play a meaningful role nationally, and in the community of nations, we must be second to none in the application of advanced technologies to the real problems of man and society.

Not just in the developing countries. Some IDIOTS even question such a programme even in the rich countries. That is a fact of life. Not everyone can see beyond the tip of their nose.
I don't care about Modi, all I know is that Indian rockets are built by Americans and Russians while Chinese rockets are built by themselves, that is enough, now 37 countries have requested to participate in Chinese space station, including India, how come Indians don't like their own space station?
@@CBING666 The rockets are indigenously built. And what is wrong with India participating in Chinese space station? Is the ISS built by one country alone? In fact, the United States has long regarded China as its biggest competitor, and the differences in social systems have also increased the gap between the two countries. As early as over a decade ago, the US Congress passed laws prohibiting NASA from cooperating with China and prohibiting satellites containing US technology from being launched by China. So saying that countries do not choose China's aerospace is not just a simple summary of China's ambition and isolation.
which of America's technologies does china use?China has had more success in space since the US rejected China from the international space station
The western countries regard China as a big competitor and NASA blocked Chinese astronauts accessing ISS, so China builds its own space station and plans to send humans to the moon by 2030, now NASA chief accused China of stealing the moon from the US….very soon the west could do the same to India when ISRO becomes another big competitor to them…please ignore the noise and work hard and make India great in space exploration.😅

India's progress in space technology and other cutting-edge fields, when compared to the United States, Russia, and China, reveals a significant gap. Indeed, both American and Russian space agencies achieved feats like sending landers and rovers to celestial bodies such as Mars and Venus several decades ago. Moreover, they have established space stations, reflecting a more mature space program. India, in contrast, still lacks the robust rocket technology necessary for interplanetary missions, necessitating complex maneuvers to reach mars or venus
It is worth noting that there remains a considerable distance to cover in space exploration, and India is still in its infancy compared to the foremost spacefaring nations. Additionally, it is essential to acknowledge that India's space program relies on technologies licensed from other agencies. For instance, the Vikas engine, a critical component of Indian rockets, is derived from the European Space Agency's Viking engine. ISRO engineers made minor adaptations to the Viking engine design before transferring it to Hyderabad-based MTAR Technologies for manufacturing.
ISRO's journey began approximately six decades ago, and while it has made commendable strides, it lags significantly behind other global space powers. For instance, ISRO's share of the global commercial launch market is merely around 2%, whereas SpaceX, a company established about a decade ago, has made substantial advancements, capturing a dominant 90% share. SpaceX boasts powerful rockets and continues to develop larger ones for future human missions to Mars.
In light of these facts, it is crucial for Indians not to become overly complacent or boastful about these accomplishments. While celebrating our successes is certainly warranted, it is equally important not to claim parity with or superiority over established space powers.
Why?

NASA regrets to inform the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) that we cannot grant entry to Indian scientists in the International Space Station (ISS) at this time. Our decision is based on our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all astronauts and crew members aboard the ISS.
As you may be aware, the ISS is a closed environment where astronauts and crew members live and work in close quarters for extended periods. Given the limited space and resources available, it is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to prevent the spread of illness or disease.
Unfortunately, recent inspections have revealed that some of the equipment and materials brought on board by ISRO scientists have failed to meet our standards for cleanliness and have resulted in unpleasant odors that have impacted the overall environment on the ISS. We understand that this may be disappointing news for ISRO, and we encourage you to take the necessary steps to ensure that your equipment and materials meet the required standards before attempting to send any further missions to the ISS.
