Rochester Homes builds some really nice homes. I worked there in the Mantanance Department. Great people to deal with. I got really sick and had to stop working all together. I'm really happy for you guys and I'm sure you will enjoy your new home. Tx for sharing my friend.

nice job.and flying that in was cool.i think I would have had the 220 90 degrees to me ,not behind me to load into the wide side of the bucket and have the bucket on the ground.the house look good.

wow that makes it so much easier to get the drain tile in place, my home I grew up in had the red clay tiles,
it is neat with the polypropylene tube with the “sock” filter to keep the fines from getting in the tiles drain.
you and george are making great progress! pretty soon it will be done! a new home for you 2. cannot wait
for the next installment! great job Brandon. you have so many skills that help you get it all done!

The big problem with most of the keyless drill chucks is that the modern cordless drill seem to stop almost instantaneously when you let off the trigger and the inertia of whatever you chucked up acts to loosen the chuck and there goes your drill bit or other tool. The manufacturers need to put in a "soft stop" feature to let the drill coast to a stop and not just slam on the brakes.
And, using the thumb as spreader was a great idea, by George!!

You can set your arm offset on the digger it would make it easier for digging along the wall

If you have enough slope away. You could drain it naturally down hill

Don't know about there but here in Michigan they always classified my parents a modular home. Then about 10 yrs ago I was taking over the house and the appraiser checked it out and since it's got wood floor joices and no title it's considered a stick biult and about tripled the value. The bank couldn't believe it. But they looked into it and sure enough that's how it worked. But if it had metal floor joices of metal beams supporting the joices it's a modular. Insurance is cheaper for stick biult vs modular.

Brandon if I had a dollar for every time I’ve put an excavator in and out of a foundation I could probably buy a new house. If ya wanna get your blood pressure up try doing it with a 410 Deere backhoe believe me your a$$ is grabbing the seat cushion
