- I am giving an update on the seeding that I did about 2 weeks ago. I am also explaining why I overseeded my KBG with Perennial Ryegrass. I am also explaining why overseeding with Kentucky Bluegrass is not ideal.

This video is so good! Love the discussion about what might not have worked as well/easily as well as what worked. Last year I did a big sand leveling, this year a big kbg overseeding kbg in Fall, and planning a big sand leveling next year-you do what you can each year and hope the next year looks a little better. Inspiring to watch your honest journey and gain advice. Cheers!

Thanks for the insight into your overseed with PRG decision. I was scratching my head a bit knowing you had a monostand but it makes a lot of sense. Good to know before tackling a renovation of my own. Keep it up!

He said during the seeding process he was watering 3 times a day but usually he waters every other day.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO! You are SO Right, people think just cutting their grass is the do all for lawn care. I first have to trim ALL the edges with the trimmer, then edge with the edger, then use the blower to blow all of the trimming and grass clippings onto the lawn.then I’ll bring out the lawn tractor and the walk behind. And this is done EVERY Tuesday and repeated every Friday, because Saturdays are for maintenance in my Vegetable garden and any weeding in the landscape. 🥵And I STILL need to repair my lawn. It ain’t easy. You have to be fully committed to making and keeping a good looking lawn.
Connor just wanted to thank you for your video, especially on the grass seed and Dalia info. You provide a diff view of how to do lawn tasks especially the grass seed recommendation. On my way to get some Rye seed now.

Great video Connor. This is a topic I’ve been hoping to hear about for awhile. When you killed off the lawn you kind of surrounded it in a air of mystery. To finally get an honest commentary about it and the aftermath was really satisfying. I love all your videos but really appreciate how honest you are which really comes through in this one. One of your best videos to date. Love the passion! Last fall I over seeded my Bermuda back lawn with perennial rye and it looked amazing and it was simple to do. Over-seed, water and cut. Keep making videos Connor.

The issue with RUclips is that you condensed in to a wonderful 18 min video HOURS and HOURS and HOURS of work! We see glimpses of the work that goes into it, but we do not see everything. Thanks for the honesty about how long it takes to get here and reminding us that it does not happen over night. It is inspiring!

Love this. I was about to overseed this year with a Bluegrass / Ryegrass mix from Ryan Knorr. It is about 85% bluegrass and after watching a few more of his videos on ryegrass and this video here, I may have to rethink this a little. I have a lot of problem spots in the yard but have not planned on doing a full reno. Just want to dethatch, spray with Tenacity, top dress and level a few spots and overseed.

Yeah I love your modern farm style house. We live in a 100+ year old farmhouse with board and batten and would love to upgrade someday, and yes your house was definitely the inspiration!! Keep you the hard work man, I love your videos!
Love the videos. Your the one that inspired me to kill off my PRG do a full Mazama KBG monostand in Western Oregon in 2019 when everyone said it wasnt possible. Dont regret it one bit. Like you I may overseed with Champions GQ PRG this fall in area's that are still struggling.
