I did that a Lot before definitive! But I send 9 Highlanders with the church tech, to pop 17 falc escorts. Getting the thousand coin can be tricky, but really worth It.
@@Widgie You can also opt for cow booming even in supermacy because british can train and gather animals in livestock pen faster than other civ it's mandatory since british rely on food too much
I prefer going for a fwd outpost with the barracks and a stable later on with this strategy. With normal muskets as support for the falcs you are also able to make use of the Greenwich speed on veteran status plus the unit upgrades you can send and profit from it in the long term. Also your upgrades at the market come in faster as well, so I rather profit from that than making additional houses in transition.
Widgie a suggestion to that FINALLY out web site with the various data of a game which was missed since AOE3JP community stopped running: The suggestion is adding a "COUNTERs- UNIT TIER LIST SYSTEM" so that people can talk and coach or whatever over Units, since the counter evidently don't work always, it would be a good system to talk about units, deepning the players understanding (at least) around mix of units and counters and fighting ...
As soon as I soon Greenwich time, I knew FF would be a thing for Brit even before the shipment time for it was buffed. It's greatly underestimated how much idle TC time you get by aging up. Greenwich reduces that significantly. TPs give exp. Yeah, it's simple math.
@@WidgieThere's a lot you don't see on the ladder because people try very hard to push anything that is too far away from the meta out with truck tons of salt and speaking bluntly, the balance team bends a bit too much in favour of pros and their 2006 fast clicking micro intensive strategy ignoring skirm/goon comps with how many things that have been nerfed that counter it. Barbary Revolt? Nerfed. Argentina? Nerfed. Native Camels? Nerfed. Only Argentina was justified and that could have been resolved by making the unit worse vs. hand cavalry/heavy infantry rather then making it lose to BOTH skirms and goons and thus utterly useless. Some people can lap up the salt but I just can't stand getting verbally abused 50% of my games, even if I lose because I didn't rush/attack early with Ottomans, did some revolt strat or tried to make some rarely used unit with a funny niche viable.

Interesting strat, tempted to give it a try, thanks for sharing Widgie!
You’re very welcome! Lemme know how you get on 👍

Just a shame that you don’t see it as much on the ladder

@@Widgie But greenwich time moved to age IV?
Great video.
I'm not the biggest FF fan, but I like church cards, so I'm conflicted about this xD
Neither am I but I like to see unpopular strats
Definetly
Is there any way to get the rec of this game?
You can DM on discord and I’ll send it to you
Missing treasure is not a skill issue here, probably the other guy got a connection with less latency 😂
Stop making excuses haha
@@Widgie wish I didnt measure it 😊
