I can imagine a Guns and Roses feeling. But since the base is Passionate, it would be more of a Playstation Nirvana feel. Also Year of the Tiger fitting. Edit: After hearing it again, it reminds me of another 80's song I cannot quite pin the name of. It does feel like the faster PSX version. My god that guitar solo needs to be played live!

You were on the right track with the GnR feeling, if you listen to the original of Neon Tiger, it has a similar sound to 'My Michelle'
