Should confirm the shiv is the same width as the pulley...

The inner edge of the v-belt grooves of the motor sheave and flywheel should be aligned. Since there is most likely a difference in the thickness of the outer edge of the motor sheave and the flywheel, this method is incorrect in most circumstances.

How does that work when your drive sheave is opened wider than your fixed driven pulley? That would be an excellent video.

So if one does not have a belt tensioner gauge what is the alternative method that you said you would describe later. Squeeze the belt in the middle and make sure it does not deflect more than an inch? Good video though, very informative.

Our tech support engineers had us edit out that section of the video because it was "too hack" and not manufacturer approved. They suggested we only show the correct way to do it which is using a belt tensioner.

You didn't check amp draw. Just curious about that.

You should have read the 'how-to' with that belt tension checker. Its 1/64" of deflection per inch of span. Then its how much force it takes to reach the deflection spec. Adjust tension as needed.

Faint music in the background is a pretty common video technique to help mask some of the natural background noises.

Next time think about what you are trying to convey and PROPERLY place the camera.
We don't care about looking at you, but the job being performed.

We love the dashboard videos on your channel of you driving down the road with talk radio and bad music playing in the background.

All made to send and have available for the county workers to see their horrible work and for anyone else to see.
Hopefully they would be embarrassed enough to do something.
Road finally was half ass paved, think they called it chip seal, but it's not a great job of that, either!!
