I’m getting dentures in a week and I’m so scared because I’m only 29.I have no idea what kind of dentures to get, I’d like to get the ultimate fit but they said it’s possible they won’t fit.Im just ready to smile again but I’m so scared.Any advice would be amazing.You look absolutely amazing by the way!Cant wait to smile just like you.

Kayla, I have the same teeth problems that you do. I had gastric bypass in 1994 and between that and my breast implant illness my once perfect teeth were destroyed. I’m now making the transition to dentures. Thank you so much for making me feel better about it!
The affordable dentures in oregon is really good. I have yet to get mine but I'm hoping after tax time I'll finally be able to smile again...

Mine has really high reviews as well, I’m just like nervous about the first date ya know lol. Like that first time you meet someone, it’s all butterflies and anxiety lol! Hope everything goes well babe. You deserve it.

hi Kayla, they look great! I have to go back to my dentist once again for adjustments for my bottom partials. I have a big gap on the bottom, keeps grabbing onto my lip would you know if they can fix it. And they are so lose I'm like you I will not use adhesives...
Mary Anderson you shouldn’t have a big gap at all. It really should be snug to the remaining teeth. If they didn’t do it correctly in the first place, it should be their bill. They should fix it for you babe. I struggled so hard with my Partials! It’s easier with full dentures
You're in the San Antonio area?! One of the pastors from my church just planted a church in Helotes TX. You probably already have a home church but just in case you don't it's called Rise Church. His name is Aaron Grijalva and you would love him. Very funny, easy to understand and puts together deep, meaningful messages. We miss him a lot!
Thrifty Reseller I have been church hopping to find the right one. I don’t currently have my car, and my mom works sundays. It’s possible, but very difficult. Depending on where in Helotes, it probably isn’t very far. I’ll start googling ASAP, and see about them. I dislike mega churches so being it just started, I’m game! So I just checked the website out, and it’s 8.6 miles from my house. I would love to check it out!

Do you know what kind of teeth he used? Were they Ivoclar Phonares?
They are a brand called portrait IPN. I plan to get implants one day, so I didn’t think about asking him for that brand. I ended up happy though!

Hey! Welcome to the family. I got my dentures from a place called 210- Denture. He sold his practice and joined forces with affordable dentures. I’m still sad about that.
Look into Densurefit to keep them from falling. They have all kinds of info on their website.
Thrifty Reseller Thank you for the sincere advice sweetheart. They sent me like 3 boxes and 6 extra applications a long time ago. I refuse to support the company for personal reasons, so it sits in a box collecting dust. I’m really trying to just train my face muscles to handle the issues. I feel like it would just be easier once it’s fixed lol. Apparently, I’m stubborn!

So sorry to hear your awesome dentist is no longer working his magic!! I hope that doesn't mean you'll be stuck with a fit that doesn't quite work as well as you should have. And they really do NOT look fake, I absolutely LOVE the way they look!!! I do see what you mean about the pink being a bit off from the color of your throat, but it was only noticeable when you showed it--not when you talk. So glad they were able to help with the tongue prison!! Keep bringing it Sister, you are awesome!!!

Lol tongue Prison... still makes me giggle! I haven’t been able to get ahold of him for the adjustments needed. Kind of feeling like I’ll just need to put on my big girl pants and deal with it. I hope you know how much the Lord is using you in the lives of others!! I'm sincerely praying this will be resolved quickly.
In the meantime, (as I preach to myself here...) just remember that the valleys make the view from the mountain peaks that much more majestic!! 😀

New Chew Channel can’t argue with logic! I’ve never once grown through the comfortable times, the stagnant times, and the easy going times. Jesus happens to know this little secret.... pain makes people move. It causes real/lasting changes. This is my time for change apparently! I keep reminding myself.... as bad as it might actually be, it could be way worse. Besides! Doesn’t the sweetest prayers, praises, faith, and relationship happen in the valley?!?! Faith is one of my spiritual gifts. Mercy, and encouragement are stronger but faith is up there. We all fall, fail, fall short sometimes. It’s the best life lessons. Wisdom from above is an amazing gift, and most of the time is seems to come from experience! Thank you truly. I’m losing this convo!

Bels Gels oh yea! Things haven’t completely improved, I had to change my outlook. Put more faith and trust into my savior, and stop worrying about my feelings. All things work together! You really are so amazingly sweet, and kind. I love when women are encouraging, supportive, and kind to each other! It makes the world a better place to live! Thank you beautiful!!!!
I am a very positive person and although my journey so far has been relatively smooth, I am yet to have my final extractions (14 front) and immediate dentures. This is scheduled for 27th Dec.
I am prepared for an adjustment period and will just take it all as it comes. There is nothing else I can do.
With regards to lifting up other women, I am a nail tech and let me tell you it can be a cut throat profession. I however don't get involved with the crap and just go about my own business.
I love positive people and just adore you and Amanda among others. Its great I have you guys to ask questions. You have products in the US that aren't available readily in Aust so I have been buying up and they all arrived yesterday in prep for my e-day and future with dentures.

On the contrary, THEY ARE THE BEST LOOKING DENTURES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I noticed they all aren't the same length as all I've ever seen are! The canines are longer, as they should be, so, that being said, GIRL, THEY LOOK AS REAL AS REAL TEETH!!! Don't think you have a lisp, you might actually develope one, lol..Jk😗 Oh, and I wanted to add that, I love that you are NOT afraid to let people know you are Christian, that really makes me happy, as I'm sure it does him too😊...I Love you and as always, will keep you and your kiddo in my prayers!!! 😘🤗💖
Karizma Charles I think you’re right! We’re usually our own worst critics. I sound different to me, so I’m more self aware. Thank you for being so sweet, and kind. It makes a difference in this world! I remember a verse saying, if you deny me in front of people, I will deny you in front of the father. I won’t be denied! My savior is alive, and my reason for being! I shouldn’t even be alive, but God! It’s funny God showed me a verse a couple nights ago about taking the tongue. I seem to forget our words have such power! You’re right, if I keep saying I have a lisp, I likely will lol. Thank you for the prayers, I need them, and appreciate them!
