I'm currently going thru this! I've battled depression for years, recently got top dentures. It has triggered something in me, my depression has gotten so much worse since I got my dentures. Huge huge regret. Everyone that I know that has dentures, doesn't understand how I'm feeling. I have a lot of past trauma and dentures for some reason, are triggering things in me. I also don't know what I'm doing when it comes to dentures, my dentist gave me zero instructions. I'm struggling so so bad!
I’m so so sorry 😞 I know exactly how you feel… honestly the only thing that kept me going is I kept telling myself “this too shall pass”, hard to say when dentures are such a permanent procedure. It used to get me so down when I couldn’t enjoy crunchy foods and I still actually don’t wear my bottoms - which is super bad for your jaw I do not recommend- I haven’t been able to see a dentist in years unfortunately. Please feel free to ask me any questions and if I have something that helped me I will gladly share :) It sure brought up a lot of “self hatred” for me 😞 but since this video it’s gotten a lot better. I know that we don’t know each other but I’m sure you are a beautiful soul with a gorgeous smile 😊

I think we all have the same fears,those that know the inevitable and those that have lived.I have gum disease and have had multiple pregnancies that have not been kind to my teeth as for iron,etcIt takes away if you are not eating properly.No drugs here either.Im glad yo are getting better mentally. You look pretty.
I can’t even imagine going through something like this at such a young age. I think it’s so important that you are so open about this and talk about it. I think about all the adults out there who are young and need dentures, but are afraid to do it because of that fear. I’m so absolutely proud of you and the progress you’ve made with feeling confident about your dentures and most importantly taking care of yourself mentally. You had literally the hardest last 2 years and I think 2020 is your year 💓💓💓 love you and just know I’m always here!!!
Thank you for always being there 💜 it's crazy to see how much of both of our lives we have seen and change so much within the last 3-4 years! Your video on HS helped me realize I shoukd talk about my dentures more there are so many people that have felt the same way as me and to know we aren't alone! I took my healthy teeth with my own will cuz i thought they are not pretty enough and with dentures i always have social anxiety that people will know I'm wearing dentures i feel ugly and fake I constantly regret removing my real teeth cuz someone told me they are ugly I feel stupid

my life is a mess.im really feeling suicidal. and i have lost 5 kg already because i feel so nervous that I can't eat . i haven't lost any teeth yet but my teeth have problems all the time.9 root canals 6 crowns and all other fillings.and i think i have to pull two of them now .im only 32 and i also have depression. you are really strong!

Hey, I'm 32 as well and just had a filling fall out that's only 6 months old. Dentist that seen my mouth told me the other dentist messed my mouth up and I'll probably need a partial at some point. You're not alone
Don't worry now a day scientist are looking for stem cell tooth regenerative method and I hope soon it will be available with most of the dentists, the trial was successful on animals who can't grow teeth like us but let's see
