Today we bring you the nearly 7 year story of dissection survivor Chris Cope. Chris is a comedian who dissected while he was out on the road in Harrisburg, PA. We are also proud to announce that he has agreed to be an Aortic Hope Ambassador.

Thank you for sharing your story. It's been seven months since my dissection. I just found these videos, and they are a godsend for me. You made me cry. I watched your Conan appearance. You are one funny SOB. Your scar is much cooler than mine. I hope you are still doing well. Thank you for helping me on my journey.

I can relate to your story I was born with Marfan's had surgery in 2002 and had a similar situation happen to me 7years where I could move my left side and thank God someone was with me to call 911 my aorta had in larged even more and cause high blood pressure and a chronic pain on my left side my Heart goes out to you sweetheart !Glad your okay
