“Yehuda, why did Mommy make you so cute?”
Ahhh! My heart! So precious!
You make motherhood look so easy, when most mothers know it's the hardest job, because we want to give nothing but the best to our babies!
Stay Blessed Sonya!
Definitely the hardest job, we are “on” 24/7
'Yehuda, why did mommy make you so cute'...how sweet!!❤
Sonya I just wanted you to know that I have made the food that you have been cooking and sharing with my family, and they truly enjoy it
Love that!! I’m so happy. Thank you for letting me know 🥰
I had a Ninja when we were doing our grandchildren’s childcare. Must have made hundreds of fruit smoothies for them. It stopped working after they went off to full time school. Almost like it was too sad to go on without them.
When I married and had children, I determined that I would make their baby food. Armed with a steamer basket and a mouli, my little ones, after being introduced to one food item at a time, simply ate what we did. Beech-nut and Gerber wouldn't get rich off us. Today those babies are grown and married. They've given me five grandchildren between them. But the memories of parenting them are cherished and oft revisited.
so beautiful
I only bought baby food if we were on vacation.
@@nbenefiel We were a military family. "Vacations" were to visit family, so making baby food was never an issue.
We followed a similar route for our children when it came time for them to start eating solids. They ate what we ate (with some modifications). I remember buying a jar of Gerber baby food (mostly for the jar, as my hubby used them for storing hardware), trying some of it, and being utterly repulsed by the bland taste and mushy texture. Kiddo wasn't crazy about it either
@@tamaratamtammorris8151 One of my cousins used to buy baby food puddings to take to the movie theater as a snack. When my sister had her baby in 1971, her pediatrician advised warming the veggies and adding a bit of butter, salt, and pepper to them. He also advised her to warm up the potted meats and add a bit of either stock or gravy to make them more palatable.
You make me appreciate my Mom! She had 4 of us and was also a registered nurse.
Such a compliment thank you
Sonya, you can buy ice cube trays with lids. I recently bought a few of them and I love that you can close them up and just pop them in the freezer. I use them for when I open chicken or beef broth and I have some leftover. I used to put the leftover broth in the fridge, vowing to make something with it in the next few days, only to find it had been buried in the back of the fridge and forgotten. Now I just freeze the broth in the cube trays and once they are frozen I store the cubes in a Ziploc to use when needed. I also do the same when I have lemons I haven't used yet and don't want them to go bad. I got my ice cube trays with the lids on Amazon, but I've seen them before at Marshalls and TJMaxx, too.
Glad to see you. Thanks for all the good recipes
My pleasure 😊 thanks for being here
I did the same thing prepared the food for all 4 of my children i used to have a vegetable garden and all kinds of fruit and trees but the trees dry the children grew got married those memories are there❤ your baby is so big now and so 😍 cute🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
my how the baby has grown! seems like yesterday he was born.
🫣yes, so fast
What a great video! I hope there are many expecting first time moms watching this. I'm a mom and grandma now and thought that making baby food was a thing of the past. Thank you Sonya ❤️
When my babies all start out eating solids I try my best to make my own when I can. As they get older I always keep a stash of store bought baby food on hand for emergencies.
Dear Sonia thank you for the baby prep video!! I ve always struggle with baby food prep ... i hope it s gonna motivate me now.
I was pregnant and had a baby a month after you and it was so cute to share these maternity/ family moments with u . Love u Sonia
Awww that’s amazing. Congratulations on the munchkin
Sonya, if you mash the yolk of a hard-boiled egg with a fork until it is very fine, and then fold it into store-bought mayo, the mayo will taste more like homemade. If you drizzle a couple of drops of lemon juice or olive oil over the cooked egg yolk, it will be easier to mash to the right consistency before adding it to the mayo.
Thank you
Great video, thanks! Chicken quarters are my go- to easy meal. Also, if you have any other baby tips or baby essentials to share, that would be amazing.
I get such nachat from watching you and your kids. ❤
Hi Sonya! Baby is 6 months? Where has the time gone. It really just feels like 3 months. love the prep. you really make it look so easy and of course yummy! Have a good week and we should only hear good news from Israel.

I feel like I blinked and half a year passed
Sonya, you seem like such a great mom!
Oh thank you!
Good easy meals
This brings back sweet memories of making my own baby food when my kids were babies. Those babies are now 47, almost 45, and 38. I froze their food in ice cube trays, too. It was so much healthier for them and saved a lot of money! That was before Ninja blenders, but I had a blender I used.
I love your videos!! You bless me!
You're such a Amazing wife and mom. Cook delicious meals for your family. U make it look easy. Love your videos. Hope your husband had an amazing Fathers day
YUMMY MY FAVORITE.
Sonya, I love your channel ! I watched this excellent video and then the one from from Memorial Day with the dreaded closet! Have y’all ever heard the phrase by Mark Twain, “Eat the Frog?” Get your most dreadful chore done first! But, I get it hon. I raised 5 and a mother’s work is never done…. I sure miss those days!😅
I make sweet potatoes every week while prepping. I never thought of steaming them, I am going to give it a try! I loved hearing your daughter speak so sweetly on Yehuda ❤
Adorable
Happy to see you ❤
Thank you for being here
Great ideas, the sweet potato n chicken is definitely going to be made asap😊
You give new meaning to the word SUPERMOM.
Oh thank you. We all just do our best
Brilliant ❤
I use ice cubes trays to just squeeze ripe mangos pieces and juices during the season in Hawaii it’s plentiful. Then we bag them and use it for smoothies. Guava season I make jelly so delicious. Best part is guava’s grow wild so it’s free and mangos people give you a lot because the trees are loaded. My grandson is a monkey he eats so much mango it’s his favorite for sure.
That’s so nice!!!
My babies, when they were a bit older, loved pureed cholent and lox!
I had a little food grinder, hand turned. Made all my kiddo's baby food. Yup, used the ice cube tray method! And it wasn't long before they ate what we ate, just chopped very fine at first. Then bigger pieces they ate as finger food. So easy, and no, baby food companies never made money off me!
Sonya you have such a beautiful soul❤
Wow, thank you
Shalom Shalom. Luv youŕ content.
Hi Sonya, can you please make a video of different breakfast recipes you like to make?
you are definitely amazing!! i learn so much from you its so much beyond cooking.. thank you so much!
Oh my pleasure, thank you for taking the time to watch.
Your channel inspires me so much! Sincerely, a Christian (Anglican) subscriber.
I nursed my kids until they were two. I didn’t start them on solids nil they were one. When I DID I just fed them whatever we were having for dinner. I’d stick the food n the food processor and blitz it. They are all grown now with kids of their own so I guess it worked.
That’s great
This was a YUMMy mouthwatering 😋🤤 post. You're a great mom! You didn't say but I assume the corn 🌽 you added to the salad was cooked?
yes
Thank you for the video 👏👏👏👏
You're welcome 😊 Thank you for watching
Great video as always Sonya! Baby Yehuda is taking after all his siblings - major cute! We missed the bigger kids as new babies so thank you for spoiling us by including Hillel as a toddler, and now baby Yehuda (and more to come!) I have been making more of your dishes for my “Prep” week in the office each month, and pre-pack it so it is all ready to go!
I hope Shai has an AWESOME Father’s day, and that all sons, daughters, wives, and moms of Fathers remember the dads in their lives today!
Cheers, Michael Albuquerque NM USA

Sonya dear your a superwoman bh. But you know that already. Question why don't you use ready made salad dressing to save some time. I an sure you know that salad mate has different variations. Wow the baby is already 6 months old! So much healthier than the bought food. I used to do it decades ago. (Not saying how many) 😂. I am sure that I wrote to you in my previous comments that you are really amazing.
I buy prepared salad dressings at times. I just love my own.
❤❤❤מרק עוף מישראל ❤❤❤כל הכבוד
Hi Sonya, just curious when you start your kiddos on fish and or meat?

mayo is dairy...isnt that mixing meat n dairy????
Mayo isn't dairy..no milk in it
mayo is not dairy
Mayo is not dairy. It is an emulsion of egg yolks, preferred vegetable oil, wine vinegar, lemon juice, and some add a small dash of Dijon mustard.
Yay I feel so happy whenever I see u have posted a new video ❤😊
Awe I love your dedication to your family 🥰 I just did the ice cube tray method for my baby, she is now 10 months and starting to eat soft food and it’s so fun!
Salma.
What do you mean your baby is on solids?!?!
My goodness! Can’t believe he is getting this big already!
Love the video as always
Bravo ça a l’air délicieux !
