The "black cymbals" are Classics Custom Dark cymbals from Meinl. The black color is a result of how the cymbals are made rather than a color which was added to them later like with Paiste Colorsound 900 cymbals, which are powder coated.

My recommendation is start with the first. the most thrashy, unpolished, speed metal of them all, "Killing Is My Business". Did you know metallicas 4 horsemen is a remake of a song on this album?
