Erica I have watched your for quite a long time. Love all Your videos and your teaching styles is equally as great..Just thought I would show you what I just made for a friend who hasRetired after 30+ yrs. of driving a School Bus..❤️
What a clever design! All my extra cables, fixed circulars, and DPNS will soon have a new home! Thanks for your excellent video and clear instructions!
I have to admit, while you’re one of my favorites, I always try to find a few videos to get extra suggestions before coming back to you. This time, your beautiful fabric choices won’t let me go. This is my choice for my daughter-in-law’s Christmas gift!! Thank you
Thank you so much for a comprehensive tutorial. I have watched quite a few videos looking for what I wanted. This is it! I will be making a case for my crochet hooks, and your case looks easy to modify size wise.
Just made one today based on your pattern and it turned out fabulously!!!! Thank you so much for an awesome tutorial! I'm so rapt to have this awesome case to put in all the lovely knitting needles given to me by my lovely mum in law, as I'm just starting to knit and crochet! xo
You give us the best tutorials! I made something similar, but smaller, for kids crayons. Good for travelling. So now it's time for a bigger one for me!
Erica, I am a teacher and have been out of school since March 13th. This pandemic had me looking for a creative outlet. I didn’t know too much about sewing, but I’ve made several of your projects and just wanted to say, “Thank you!” I would love to see some Christmas projects....I know it’s early😆
Thank you Erica, I live in Australia and I love watching your videos. You are extremely generous to share your knowledge and skills. I agree with Tawnya Christmas projects are always welcome anytime of the year, call it Christmas in July preparation. God bless, you and your family.
Loved this!! I already have one that I got when I first bought some knitting needles from an older woman who just wasn't knitting much anymore. I got the whole set of needles, some DPN's, circulars that I probably won't use much since I have my ChiaoGoo set now, and several straight needles that weren't a whole set. She threw in the nice holder, then asked me if I wanted to have her knitting holder that stands on wooden legs. All for $20!!!
I made this case for my dpns and love it! No more scrambling around in the bottom of my knitting box. My daughter likes it so much she has asked me to make her one for her straight needles. Thanks so much for this pattern!
thank you for a quick and easy to understand video! that's what i like short and to the point! Excellent!!! And the bonus outtakes at the end were really entertaining :)!
Erica, you always make it looks so easy. I like the rounded corners and how easy they were to do. I also love your fabric choices, so pretty. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. Please keep offering these fun and useful ideas 😊.
Thank you for this wonderful and easy to follow tutorial. What a great design.❤ Now I know what to gift my knitting family members for Christmas this year.
I just made one today even though I haven't used a sewing machine since grade school and it turned out wonderful. Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial:)
He Erica! I love your channel and all the crafts you make. Please post some videos of your beautiful quilts that you display over your ironing station. I would love to see the process. Blessings!
Love your videos AND bloopers! 🤣. I feel for you with the hair thing. Our shops were finally able to open with restrictions. Just got back and ohhh myyy goodness was that needed. I just got a cut but I swear I have less gray. 🤣
Just found this great project. Quick question if just making for circulars should I stitch a line across the middle of pocket and again at bottom of second pocket when placed on top to avoid them falling to the bottom if that makes sense?
I'm going to make a slightly smaller version for a friend and her makeup brushes. She's always griping about how she doesn't have a nice way to store them when she travels...which we aren't doing much of at the moment. ;-)
I love your designs and videos. Thank you for being a valuable source of information. I do have a question about this design. I noticed the rows of pockets go all the way through. If you have needles back to back in multiple rows, do they get in a way of each other? Thank you.
Hi Erica, I absolutely love, love this design for a needle case!! I don't have any cotton canvas on hand, but I do have alot of 100% cotton and also a lovely piece of linen. Would that work for this needle case. If I need to add a light fiberfill would I have to make two outside pieces in order to enclose it? Thank you for sharing your amazing talent 😊
Hi, a HERA Marker is a tool used to mark fabric without actually writing on it :) amzn.to/3BA3cLW The clover one also has a point turner on the other end which makes it even more useful!
If you sew all through the three pockets, top to bottom, where is the room for circular needles? Didn’t you sew straight up? Perhaps I’m misunderstanding..?? Thank you
This one is more for DPNs, but you can customize it however you like. If you want to have an open pocket in back for circular cords, I would sew the two pocket layers together for the straights, then sew those to the main fabric along the outside edges and possibly down the center just so you have two pockets open in back for circulars. Hope that makes sense. I do have pattern that is meant for circular needles here: ruclips.net/video/nwJjYnNdWc0/видео.html
I love this needle bag/holder. You did a wonderful job of explaining and the fabric choice is very nice.
You just make me laugh... Thanks for including the bloopers... I feel so much better about myself... 😂

Love, Love, Love this tutorial. I'm going to make one of these tomorrow for my daughter's crochet hooks. :-)
Excellent video!
Great little bag/roll up. Seems the easiest things do give me the most trouble! Not hard just crazy sometimes. I can relate! Lol
Thankyou so much. Just what I need.
Thank you Erica. I live this case project. I really need this.💖
My daughter wants me to make this for her art supplies- paint brushes and drawing pencils. Great project! Thank you!
That looks really much easier. Thank you for this.
Love your tutorials! Made a case simular to that for my crochet hooks years ago out of a quilted placemat!❤🐢
You are so great at these video’s! Thank You ☺️
I really needed this tutorial! My knitting needles are always lost and it's always a headache to find them ... THANK you sooooo much!!!
Thank you for this tutorial. This was very fun to make. ^_^
Just what I need 😍 spend so much time searching for needles 😛
Very nice 👍
Beautiful!!! I am going to try it for my crochet hooks. ❤️

Could you add snaps to the cover flap!
I don't see why not :)

I don't have an issue with it, but if you wanted to you could sew the pockets so they are offset a bit :)

hi! Sure, I would probably add some stabilizer inside just to give it a little extra stability.
how would i add a pocket to this for storing stitch markers, yarn needles etc. ??
If using directional fabric which way is the 20"
It's 17" wide, and 20" from top to bottom.
Will this fit a 14 inch long needle?
it's not tall enough for that, but you can easily adjust the measurements to fit taller needles if you need to.
Been wanting to make something like this for YEARS. Is that a special kind of tape on your machine with the seam allowances and where did you find it?
So I could use fat quarters for this?
You could if you wanted!
❤️❤️❤️
I made something similar to this 30 years ago. Not as fancy, and mine was so much easier. I still have it
What's a hair marker??

Have you set your audio to one and a half times speed? If not you’re speaking MUCH TOO FAST.
