Really really enjoyed this, it just rings so true to me and I’m 2 years clean thank god heroin and tonnes of crack cocaine ended up with DVT homeless facing prison after a robbery, tonight I’m sitting in me own 2 bed apartment with me sons room full after spending day with him swimming playing ball and loving life again , it’s worth the fight I swear it good luck Terry mate from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
Aww bless him , I love Terry, one of them when you think you’ve known him for years , reminds me of my uncle Danny , god rest him , lv these podcasts brilliant 👌👍🤗
Terry doesn't realise how much of a top guy he is . He's so genuine and full of personality. Hope he gets to the other side of his addiction. I'm an addict myself and my dad is an alcoholic so I can relate to most that he is saying . The self doubt and lack of self worth is a nightmare mixed with addiction but Billy seems to be putting a good support network in place for him . Keep getting yourself out of the house even if it's a aimless walk for half hour . Simple things like getting out and about does wonders for mental health. Wishing you all the luck in the world on your journey pal 🍀🍀🍀
It's deeper. Humour masks a deeper side to pain..it's how we deal with stuff. It's probably helped get him through some tough times. Brilliant, he's getting some help. We're all rooting and praying for Terry. ❤
I agree 100 percent. Ale is the worst drug of them all. Billy is right. That change, thing.... Billy is an inspiration for every addict regardless of what floats ya boat. Judda. Accept the help that Billy has blessed you with.
This is top class content. Props to you Billy & strength to you Terry. Out of 99% of the RUclips community its always you i see thats the highlighting homelessness and drug abuse a d the ripple effect it has not just on the user but how it affects the families too ❤️
I love these videos with Terry have been in his shoes and am 4years sober now and am loving life it is very hard at first but I really believe if you want to change you definitely Can.I truly wish him all the best on this journey ❤
Terry you can do this mate . I went through bad depression a few years ago n what got me through was good friends around me. Billy is your rock now listen to his advice

Watched a couple of these now took me a while to get me head round it technology innit.. ya know what tho my parents were heroin dealers ruined their lives and mine and my siblings I’ve got a brother and two sisters. The eldest sister was adopted out the family around the time when I Was 11 she was around four years old I am the oldest I grew up trying to hold my family together I grew up, hating authority, my own family for the fact, my sister was adopted out of the family. I have lived with this kind of guilt all of my life. Hoping she’s okay a few years ago she got in touch with me we spoke a few times. We even met once at my local pub. Whilst I was doing an open mike evening, I could hardly speak to her because of the guilt that I felt upon not being adopted. Out of the family anyway I digress sorry this shit is real I hope he finds the way out and I Applaud you Billy because this shit is absolutely real. All the very very best to both of you guys on this amazing journey.
💖 That's a lot to put on the shoulders of a child. Your sister being adopted, it really isn't your fault, at all. You should see if you can see a therapist, if you can. These things, until you have properly processed them, are very internally turbulent. Perhaps look at a kid, the same age as you were and ask yourself if you would hold that kid responsible for their families situation? Wishing you all the very best in life 💖
Terry I'm a good judge of character and I can tell you're a top genuine fella!!! Remember when you're feeling low all these people in the comments that have said the same of you. Use it to help you pull you through them low times. Keep ya chin up mate, believe in yourself mate. Peace fella!
Be interesting to see what support Terry needs to get him back on track. From these videos it seems just somebody like Billy from a similar background but on a positive path now can make a big difference. A life time of drug abuse is no joke and I can't imagine social workers can really understand the issues unless they have came from a similar background. Wishing Terry all the best,
It takes abit Judder lad, but just keep going, keep focused, I was stadge 4 liver disease, now I have normal readings, fresh as a babies. One day at a time, thinking of you.

Like Terry says alcohol is the worst drug of them all. As a addict and clean for 4 years I decided to give something back as we do and I volunteer in a detox centre in Manchester and the most people who came in are for alcohol related. When we go into the rooms for the first time we are scared because it just might change us for the better. Keep on going back Terry because it does work for some people. One day at a time.
Spot on pal and good on you. I did my rapid methadone detox in Prestwich last May. After being 28 years on the shite. Gave up gear and white years back , probably 12 years it was just the green handcuffs which was the worst. And pointless. He’s got a great pal there in Billy who will always be there for him from what I can tell. Now to get off the garys. Oh that’s what I meant to mention. Over thinking and stopping yourself from doing things , i was the same , you have to retrain yourself to fear nothing but respect everything ,if you carry on using your going to die so go straight and start living and don't rush take easy steps and start smiling
Most important thing is 'discipline'. Motivation will come and go but if you have discipline, you can get through it or anything. There will be days when you feel like you can take on the world, days when you will not. If you rely on motivation, you will fail. Discipline is key.

@@fionakilpatrick9234 and you're saying good luck to me, Wow 😲, not many ppl would be thinking of others, but you know what I'm exactly the same, it's like what am I to say to YOU, because I'd be a patronising bastard, but anytime that's all I will say, lovely to chat 💙❤️😎.
Judder you've got a lot to live for big time
Nice one Bill ,you subconsciously told the viewers that it's not ANY individual who can stay away from poison and bad behaviour ,but calm perseverance.
Whether or not you noticed who knows ,but I'm struggling with swagoe issues and have been tapering for 4 days now and feel ......the same as everyone else.
But that one comment pept me up and now I'm feeling 1000 times more confident.
On another topic your expression has a look of frustration, anger and deadpan. Would you consider addressing how you were feeling on the last 2 videos with your bro
Judder was a boss lad. He used to live in Tilston in Walton across the road from me. He was about 15 years older than me. Used to be a boss footy player. Played with us in the street. He was a proper skilful player, boss lad👍🏻. An their Ste, with his curly bonce. Glad to see your still going lad, keep on fighting. Clean 4 years myself now, I know how difficult the battle is. Judder, 100% Scouser✌🏻👊🏻✌🏻
Good luck buddy , best wishes

All the best guys...
Over thinking and stopping yourself from doing things , i was the same , you have to retrain yourself to fear nothing but respect everything ,if you carry on using your going to die so go straight and start living and don't rush take easy steps and start smiling
Stories Terry's got could be made into a great book.
Most important thing is 'discipline'. Motivation will come and go but if you have discipline, you can get through it or anything. There will be days when you feel like you can take on the world, days when you will not. If you rely on motivation, you will fail. Discipline is key.

Billy i must say good on you because your helping someone overcome there addictions even though still going through them yourself people cant forget it must be hard for you aswell especially seeing all these negative things again
Hi Billy, love these videos. I’ve not drank for over 3 years because of Craig Beck’s book “alcohol lied to me”. His RUclips channel is called “The Stop drinking expert”. Might be worth showing Terry - no harm and really effective in my view. Best of luck to him
Alright Billy . You know what mate I know we all carry demons and fears . But they don’t make them like us anymore. There’s some characters out there with a tale to tell . Really put a warm feeling watching this . No matter what life throws at the there always an old friend to make you laugh . Hope he stays with the program. All the best to you Billy
