👍I come back to give you a like. Watched this video about 6 months ago started out with flatted copper pipe and broken #10-24 tap. Sharpening it to work was trial and error but eventually got it to work well enough I still sometimes use it. Once I figuered out I could actually do it reasonably well I started buying proper blanks. Machined some scrap stainless rod to hold them and turned some Mesquite knobs to make them more comfortable. It's a fun hobby that pays for itself. TY for sharing tips.
Incredible. I'll check GRS and your site. Thanks for sharing this. You obviously have a lifetime of skill but make it look like someone could do something from the start.
Brilliant! Now I’m thinking about engrave my high hat or ride from the drum set, is there any chance? Maybe it need to be the other kind of metal? Thank you for sharing your skill. I’m Russian, sorry for gramma.
It depends on what you'd want to engrave on it and where. old school engravers made gravers for all sorts of different shaped items but it's a dying art form and most engravers use power gravers anymore
great vid but fuck the grs monopoly, they have some good products but ive never in my life believed only one company can give good gravers or graving tools. i have a grs vise ball and it works fine but their gravers are no better than any other from my experience. grs just charges more for their crap based off brand at this point, especially when it comes to handles or gravers which are very basic.
