Your Flat Graver looks to have a slight bend to the left under the scope, does it have that? Very nice cuts! Does your flat graver have relief on the bottom? Enjoyed your video!
Nice work...i can hear by the knocking of your graver that it seems like you have yours turned down quite a bit more than i was taught..your approach seems a lot more forgiving. I think I'll turned mine down and see if i can be more controlled...question..what do you do about burrs that are kicked up..? Thanks for the video..I always enjoy watching someone who knows what their doing. Thanks again for the video.
This is an EnSet engraver. They are the most expensive and different to other engravers like the graver max. With the enset you can go as low as one single hit by itself at a time.
trekranger depends on the kind of system.. some are foot controlled while some are activated by pushing palm.. both are very easy to handle and requires little to no puahing.. just control the graver speed up or slow down as you wish
A friend who is a fitter and turner would be worth their weight in gold to assist in making air graver at a lower cost than usd1500 -2500 for the handpiece. Of course air is needed to drive it at extra $$$ but much cheaper than the fancy top noch gear costs
@Jake Thejeweller thanks for the advice jake.really helpful, could you recommend some metal to sharpen for engraving stainless?have a project :)also could you recommend some tools to buy that id need?
not true actually, I got my engraving ball brand new for about 500 and gravers can be bought for a decent price if you are hand engraving. You can even find deals on ebay for some non GRS brand engraving balls.
Look up Shaun Hughes engraving he has videos showing how to make one from things you can buy on ebay for around 100 dollars. Even then though this is no cheap hobby.
You are very talented. It's a joy to watch you engrave.
