    I like the idea of higher wing loading on the center section at cruise.

    Verrry interresting... I used to do a lot of woodwork, and this whole combination with the turboprop really lights my fire, pun intended. It must be easier to manage power than a piston engine, no worries about shock cooling, mixture, etc. No mention about the prop, looks like fixed pitch, cheaper, but would be cool if you could put it in beta, you could land almost anywhere. Beautiful airplane, I wish them good luck in getting it certified in the USA.🤞

    Why would anyone want a modern airplane made of wood..?

      May be because it's lightweight, grows sustainably in forests, fatigue is less of a problem than metal. Carbon depends on oil, has a security factor of 2 vs 1.5 for wood to be certified, and this pretty much always negates any weight saving.
      Wood is easy to work with.
      Did you fly a wood structure airplane ?
