My dad trained in a PT 19 on his way to fly C47s in WWII. I remember him saying that they were under-powered but if you got everything just right, you could do a loop. Hard to believe!
Flies out of recently renovated and beautiful Hummel International (W75). I took a ride with him and it was really a lot of fun buzzing over the Rhappahannock River and the coastline of the Northern Neck, Virginia. You don't get to ride in an open cockpit much.
I also had a Cox PT-19 control-line model airplane...👍
