Mullet in the 5’s???
Hell Yeah Brother I feel like I ruined this Nostalgic moment that Cleetus is trying to make for me. Because I've just watched these videos again for the 15th time a couple of days ago!! I love the fact that you included the history of Leroy.
Hi , congratulation for the 6 , Dav from France .
We need a fleet walkthrough with best ET and speed...Grats btw!!!!!!
Ruby next?????
Congratulations!!! It’s really hard to wrap my head around the experience of a 6 second go cart…and with a stick?!?! Freaking nuts! Leroy is indeed a Savage. Hats off to the whole team. 👍
Genuinely cool to know you're a drag racing fan
Didn't think i would see you here. I'm glad to see you are a fellow man of culture.
Why did I read this comment in your voice? haha
All of my brain is blown just seeing you here in the comments.

I loved the symbolism of the 7 second time slip flying out of the car on the 6 second run. Leroy left the 7 second runs in the dust.
I said the same thing!
Right I was thinking the same thing. The moment that slip went flying I was like whelp there's the 6 lol
Holy hell I didn't even think of that, that's actually pretty cool 🤯
Had to happen 😂😂😂
Tossing out old slips on a spicy rip has almost become a Leroy tradition.
It has been such a great journey watching Leroy all these years. What a car. What a race team. Great work guys, this was awesome!
Best channel on RUclips imo 👌
Bob! I knew you liked cars, but didn't know you liked drag racing. That's awesome
Hey whats up bob?
It’s never a real Leroy pass without a time slip flying out at mid track! Hell yeah brother🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What a symbol of moving up to sixs!!
So epic bro!!! Congratulations to the team 🥳💪
As he throws the seven second slip out the door!!!
Look there, Cletus, you got the racing channel looking at you. Congratulations. I like to see you show up maybe on the street outlaws show
It's crazy how a guy that you've never met that you've been watching since 2017 can make you tear up with joy over his successes! Congratulations!
I lost a few tears of joy!!
Every time
Yes, it is crazy..
Anyone that teared up should get some testosterone !
@@zzzxxzzz3248Or stop believing you don’t have emotions like it’s the 1950’s…
I’ve been with this channel since the very beginning when he got the Corvette. And to see this moment and see how happy he is and his team is freaking awesome.
Been here since he put the turbo whistles on the C7. Its been a ride so far
Anyone else almost shed a little tear of freedom for Cleetus when he finally made it happen? The amount of passion this man has for what he does is unreal. That's why I think his content is so far above everyone else
Congrats to this Team! That 7 second slip that flew out at 32:48 for the first 6 second pass was Leroy The Savage saying "Good bye 7's, its been fun but 5 years is long enough, i'm ready for some trophies!!"
I saw that and was thinking the same thing.
he needs a shirt with that exact image
@@cerberus1166definitely
I was wondering what flew out
That amount of vibration can't be good for overall performance of the vehicle?
Feels like yesterday we saw Leroy’s first 7. Congratulations man
Nah feels like a decade
More like feels like years
Technically we did on the new engine😂😂
*9!
More like years bub almost thought it wasn't gonna happen
0-163 MPH in 4.58 in an open wheel car is absolutely insane. I can't imagine how hard that thing must pull.

Same here man I was so pumped let's goooooooo from tassie
As an American, ya got any suggestions for me/ us on cool, relative channels on your side of the planet? Very interested and much appreciated! Thank you.
I loved the symbolic 7.0 slip flying out of the car on that 6 pass. Leroy was officially throwing out the 7.0s
And 1776 on the rear tire.
I thought the same thing!
It’s crazy how when you ran the 6, the old 7’s time slip flew out of the car. Almost like it’s a new chapter. Congrats man!!
I thought the same thing. Car said “get that shit outa here we going 6s now”
That wasnt the time slip, it was the weight lifted off cleets shoulders propelling leroy to 6s lol. Cleet should also thank his recent weight loss too.
Anybody else get a little emotional for this one?!?! If you didn't, you must be new to the show! LET'S GO, LEROY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for this comment. I was afraid I was the only one.

Damn way to show how clueless you are about racing in general within a few little sentences 🤣
don't think it can physically run 5's
Are there even Stick cars in the 5's? I am not sure if Leroy will get any quicker with that stick. Maybe a tenth or two with a fiberglass body, but that's it 😅

@@Dilipigusmanual trans in the 7s was a myth a few years ago. If anyone can do it, Cleetus’ team can do it. Every single car they have has kicked the hell out of every time they’ve chased.
The fact that a 7 second time slip flew out of the car on the way to a 6 is just poetry
Leroy spittin visual bars
"we don't need that where we're going"
Can we just appreciate the symbolism of the 7 sec time slip leaving the car mid 6 second pass… so real, so unscripted, absolute realism and absolutely exhilarating. Congrats y’all

I was here for the first 9 second, and 8 second pass. Ive been here since the turbo whistle days
This video was a harsh reminder of how long I've been watching RUclips for and how little I've personally progressed during that time
Cliche af but also been here since the turbski whistles. Tbh, back before the channel even launched. caught him in a few of 1320s older videos ripping the willys jeep and stealing Kyle's ZR1 from his garage 😂 nothing but quality content since day 1.

We really need a “I’ve got a 9 second neighbor” shirt! would buy in a heartbeat
There was so much history in this video. Seeing Neighbor run the 9, and George mentioning Ed. The customary battle with Leroy to break a record. Even the old Mt Dew tradition. Massive congrats to the whole McFarland Racing crew!
So much nostalgia, thought I was gonna see cooper or Jeremy pop out at any point 😂 can’t believe I’ve been watching these videos this long, I subscribed as soon as either kyles ZR1 and the mower or Tom baileys Camaro videos came out. Crazy how far the team has grown

Man I can't believe it's been 5 years since that 7 second pass... I remember watching every video of you fighting to get that 7 and I was just as hyped when you did it. Wild to see how far cleet has gone in the last 5 years how cool.
Great team effort & accomplishment; something nobody can ever take from you.
40-45 yrs from now, when you're my age, you'll STILL be able to say you were The First.

I really thought that was only like a year and a half ago. Crazy.
Leroy is the reason I started watching this channel. The only thing I cared about. The progress made me feel like I was with them even, tho I wasn't. Every time he set a record, I always jumped out of my seat with excitement and celebration.
I've watched the team bring Leroy from a fast drag car to a 6 second assassin, it been great seeing you guys overcome inconsistent launches, smoked engines and the many other issues with Leroy. Building the back half cage with 4 link, took some time to dial in but I knew Leroy would be a monster when you guys got him to hook. Congratulations on 6.92 you all deserve it, thanks!
And he did it WITH both oil and water staying in the engine and cylinder-heads remaining in place :D Big Congrats McFarland-team 👏👏👏
No water in Leroy. Just straight methanol for fuel.
Like clay millican and Lyle Barnett said on drag illustrated. Pete is probably the most underrated tuner out there. Love to see him get his time in the spot light!
Pete is a legend!
Mike Finnegans motor in Blasphemey has a Pete motor! Come on!!!
With Neighbor in the background so wholesome. He's always watching 🎉
He left a lil late of the 6.92 too! Killin Cleetus...CONGRATS! The pride is great in these guys right now!
I don’t think Tye gets enough credit. Without him none of the majority of the things on this channel wouldn’t even exist. His fabrication is beyond what most people strive for.
Actually i believe the crew know how pivotal he is they always appreciate his work.
I agree...
Everyone knows how crucial to the team Tye is. the man made huge advancements to the team the moment he joined even when he really didn't wanna be on camera with the exception of actual racing like this he is my favorite person to watch on the channel the time lapses are always awesome and I know many people admire the guys talent
@@klev2008 i also think hes a rather modest kind of guy too. Humble even.
Garret can drive and really cut a tree but yes most of the work come down to the fabricator and tuner for sure
It's crazy how millions of people have followed along on this journey and we're all *almost* as invested in this well-deserved victory as you and your team are. Congratulations, dude.
I started watching the channel a few months before you bought Leroy. I was always a 60s and 70s Mopar and 90s import guy, but this build, your energy, and crew really got my attention. The first video I remember seeing was you looking at the then new C7 before it was released. I've been a regular viewer since.
It's so awesome to see this! Congratulations to you and everyone who helped along the way!
CONGRATULATIONS to Cleetus & Company.
This was a very emotional episode for me. I remember when you guys had only just gotten the C7, and the turbo whistles, to now run 6.92 at 203.8mph is an insane feat. Not only that but running a 9.82 in Neighbor, with Gearge remembering Ed. This whole episode was a emotional roller-coaster, and honestly had me teary eyed in a couple spots. I was sitting here on my phone, watching and cheering you on as if i was actually there. You and the team deserved this Cleetus.

Leroy knew the assignment that's why he gave you the 7.10's and 7.00's. He's the content king and nobody wants a 5 minute video where he sets a record off the trailer. No, it's gotta be on the last run with everything riding on it and everything pushed to the max. He does this every time 😂

Leroy was hooking hard off the leave! Wonder if a 1.0 60ft could have been achieved. Love the mid track camera angle. Really puts it in perspective to the viewers the amount of chooch being delivered when 2nd gear hits. You have surrounded yourself with an amazing team of gentlemen that are just as passionate as you are. Congrats!

I've seen Leroy in person when it was running 7s and 8s and was blown away by how wicked fast it looks in person vs on RUclips. 6.90s is so insanely fast. Videos don't even do it justice.
