Special thanks to Pete for helping out this weekend with the tuning! Check out his channel ruclips.net/channel/UC8dKAjU5RaZc0CNFUN1FhQA
Congrats Cleeter!!!
Congrats Cleet! You deserve all the greatness coming at you!
Hell yeah brother. I'll be at the danger ranger all the way from Oklahoma. Had it all planned before Ian was ever a issue
Gets an actual tuner and runs a-b fastest its ever ran.. multiple times… and comes home with a trophy and 20k…safe to say ol bend a rod is not up to what that car needs🙃 and cleeter is driving the absolute shit out of him🇺🇸
56 minute video that is so awesome I love the long video's and Pete is a rock star the guy is awesome
Mad props to James, even though he didn't make it to the finals, his support and enthusiasm for Cleetus and George never waiverd, that's true comradery.
He lost the best way possible. .0002 danggg
Dude had a weekend, broke BOTH his cars and was the only one not to win on his crew..
I just wonder if he would of won if he didn’t peddle it.
How did he lose? He had a faster 1/4. I dont get it
James is always there Win or brake. 100% THE DUDE
An HOUR of Cleet and the crew? HECK YES.
It seems like forever since he's put out a long video. Great stuff
Heck yus!
Hellll yeaaa bruther
Yeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeye
I legit just got done saying holy crap an hour long video and then seen this comment 😂😂😂😂
I have watched this video multiple times, andI still love how some of the first words he said were “I’m so friggin proud of my team” Cleet seems like one hell of a team leader, and an even better person. “Let’s Gooooooooooooooooooo”
No chance George would have EVER been this happy at the old place. What a great move! Love you Georgie boy! You keep showing everyone!
Fasterproms tanked after Senior Buenos Diiiiiaaaaas got the boot. Jeremy was just a paracite latching on to theese guys.
@@SazanD1 no he was a business partner in the shop and a great friend just some people don't know how to handle competition and handle things the wrong way but nobody could blend George for switching who wouldn't want to do that
Cleetus wins: Gets emotional, giving shout outs to his team for making it happen.
LS George wins: **non-stop incoherent high pitched screaming**
George had me in tears with those screams 😂😂
To be fare that was George's first win so can't really blame him.
Ah, to be a little girl again...
@Billy White Jr. Congratulations Guys! Team Spirit is alive and well in McFarland Racing... shout out to Kevin Smith as well! "A well-oiled machine..."
I think when he got the win for a moment George was moving more air than that blower on full rip 😁 So happy George got the W as well!
even knowing the outcome beforehand, i was still on the edge of my seat watching this. congrats mcfarland racing!
Yess and go Finnegan!!! Been a fan of yours for a decade!
Hey Mike you got blashemi tuned yet
Same man, seeing those timeslips on Facebook AMPED me up to watch this when I got home.
6.54@221...
Dude, I'm sitting here with goosebumps!
This video is deadass top 3 most epic videos on this channel, right up there with Leroy in the 7's and the Freedom Factory reveal. This is nuts! Keep 'er going!
Most definitely! So true! Had me on the edge of my seat !!! LETS GOOOOOOOO
I thought the 7 second video with Leroy was an absolute epic moment in cleetus history. Nothing touches this video. Absolutely incredible job to everyone involved and what an amazing community and family we have. Thank you for all the years of entertainment and congrats to each and every one of you. Let's go!!!
Cleet - Literally asleep on the tree
Mullet - "I gotchu fam"
Nice to seem Jimmer here 😊
one fast boiiiiii
Letssss Freeking gooooooo!!
“Asleep”? More like “on vacation at Key West”! What happened on the line there...Spot 0.11 at the start and still win?!?!
When are you coming stateside to do some racing
Mullet: a failed jet car that became a twin-turbo rocket ship.
Rocky: a mid-trip rescue that became a passion project of power.
The redemption arcs of these two vehicles is astounding.
I cannot wait to see what the future holds for McFarland Racing.
Don’t forget Ruby, the auction derelict that was struck by lightning to be brought back to life with junkyard parts and now look at her, the Queen of the fleet.
That car will never NOT have a new story to tell. Rewatching the beginning of her saga is a TRIP.
From "Well, it runs" to "I DID A WHEELIE!"
Now, a single-turbo A-to-B red streak down the track.
I am stoked for the latest incarnation of Leroy: The Savage.
Fucken poets ❤❤😢
I had completely forgotten that Rockie was a race week rescue car. I loved watching George pull those wheelies.
Rocky is also going to have issues getting faster than 9s
I'm not a car guy or a racer, I'm a concrete finisher. Started watching when they poured the burnout pad. Watching these guys win a race, then rush to the line to watch someone else race before their own car is fixed is why I stay. Love watching the support you give eachother. Congrats
Watching this video again 10 months later, seriously probably the only hour long RUclips video I’ve ever watched all the way through and best RUclips video I’ve ever watched🇺🇸🇺🇸
For us OGs, this was one of those “let’s remove all the coolant and make another pass” leroy moments. What a race
Right up there with that moment 🐐
After all the disappointment and early-round losses they've had at events over the years, to see lightning strike like this is fantastic. Cleetus with the double champ, George winning the 9.50 class in what used to be a clapped-out 16-second emergency replacement car from a Drag Week, James losing the race of the weekend by only 0.0002 second...damn son. This seriously is the best Cleetus moment (other than maybe the Madi proposal video) since Leeroy's air-cooled 7.82.
Those 2 videos are my 2 top favorites
Love Leroy’s first 7 pass video and this one
I’ve been watching since the Cleetus videos were just on 1320 so it’s been fun to follow along for the years
Coolant... Who needs coolant😀
Man this is the most emotional thing I've watched on this channel since Leroy ran its first 7! Congratulations guys!
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Thought the same thing!
Hahahaha I said the same thing!!!!!! This is the type of videos I love!!!!!!! I can't wait to see mullet touch 5s🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@KurlyTL and leroy in the 6s
Cleet choking up in the car at the end got me
Seeing all the struggles this team has been through, throughout the these past few years, from deer whistles in the exhaust to 6.54 second passes. This video damn near made me cry. Congratulations to cleeter mcskeeter and the mcfarland racing team!
It is a thrill to watch y'all race like you did this weekend. I am an old fart who used to race way back in the day when the rails were not even breaking the 6's or 200 mph. I used to watch Big Daddy Don, Connie, Shirley and others race and raced my 66 GTO vert. Compared to today, my poor GTO would not even come close, the best I did was 13.1 at just over 100 mph. I like that you guys are basically just a bunch of friends working together to race. Keep it up, this old disabled vet will keep watching. Go Mullet!!!!
this might be the best 57 minutes of content i’ve ever watched. i’ve never felt so much pride and joy to see somebody else succeed in my life
Absolutely man, Seeing how far they've all come from where they were when I first started watching is unbelievable. And this is what it's all about.
AHMEN BROTHER
They seem such stand up guys love your comments.
Couldn’t agree more man, so pumped for all of them!!! 👌👌👌👌
Amen!
Can’t forget Kevin and Steve. They built the foundation for this rocket ship. It takes a great chassis and a great motor as well as great tuning and driving. Garret has built a great team. Can’t wait to see him on the bigger meats. All the growing pains were worth it now.
BIGGER MEATS
Thats what i said. Steve morris is the god of horsepower.
100%.... Kevin did a great job with the car and Steve's engine is an absolute animal 👍👍
Yea I was surprised Kevin wasn't there considering his shop is like 5 miles from Gainesville raceway
Kevin’s was racing at a Trans am race in Virginia, but I bet he wanted to be there!
In the middle of his insane celebration he remembers George and ask if he won, just goes to show how great Garret is. Rock on guys.. was a great video felt like I was there.
I remember few days back when George was prepping the blazer people were hatin and saying George can’t drive. Look at him now fkn killed it!
bro the homie has some serious pedaling skills. he worked that blazer like it was a part of his body!
He is a true Bracket racer
these bastards said the same about coop then a year later he nailed a 7 on the 2jz camaro.
This is probably one of the best cleater videos I’ve ever seen. Hands down smiles and anticipation the entire time
don't forget about that 7 second Leroy video, probably the most hyped I've ever been watching his videos
Also the Midwest drags with the nitrous turbo spooler 9000
Why in TF am I over jumping and yelling and cheering like I’m at the actual track?!? I actually got so excited I got teary eyed! GOOD EFFIN JOB TO YOU AND THE WHOLE TEAM!!! I can’t even calm down at the moment. I’m hella proud of you guys!!! ALL OF YALL!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mullet v Snotrocket will be the best drag race I think I'll ever see. Picture perfect from lights to the line. I've rewound it 10 times in a row, after coming back to watch it AGAIN 3 weeks later. That, and everybody celebrating at the end of each pass. Got that hand shake!
“I’m so friggin proud of my team dude” -Garrett
That’s spoken like a true team player and someone with a whole lot of pride in the people around him. Great job
his first thought too, just like damn I got good people with me
Best said when things go wrong. That is a true leader/team player. But that being said. Props to the team. Way to go Brotha.
This is one of the only channels that I can watch an hour long video without even knowing it was hour long and still want more LOL Keep it up guys!!!
Wait, what, that was an hour..
@@chrisluce6614 that's what I was saying after I finished the video lol I just click on the notification and watch haha
For real! Lol thought I was the only one! 😂
I was like 30 minutes in when i noticed 😅
I didn't realize it was an hour long till i got here lol
Doug goin " 221! " after the last mullet pass had me fired up!
"I'm so freaking proud of my team dude" this says everything you need to know about this giraffe
Has to be like 6 years that I have been watching this channel on every lunch break religiously, I don’t miss an upload. I wish new viewers could understand the level of emotion that people like myself feel when we see videos like this. None of this comes without years of challenges, plenty of races that end in qualifying, etc… This was so well deserved, especially after the hurricane. Keep that fire burning cleet!
I've been watching since the early days, you're definitely right about the level of emotion these sorts of videos cause
Same same 43 year old here with wet eyes.
I am with you. I love watching these guys succeed. Great Stuff
I’ve watched every single video posted on the chanel.. watching this was just incredible
Hell ya brother
James's "And we had us a race" bit was possibly one of the happiest things a racer can say. You guys killed it !
James losing by that small of a margin? Who wouldn't be surprised? But then again, he got a side by side finish. That's was an impressive race, all things considered! 👍
That race was one of the best of the night. Cleetus running Rick was pretty badass too though. That dam Elco just keeps going faster and faster.
I'm a little confused why James lost. His time was faster, and crossed the line first? Did he only lose because the other guys tree reaction was faster?
@@xtravagentk1275 Yep. Sometimes the race can be won by pulling out from the tree faster than the next guy. Just like what George did on later races
@@alexhndr Damn.
Had freaking goose bumps watching that whole track day go down, felt like i was right there in the action
I swear I saw Jackstand let out and get back in. I think he thought he was ahead and feathered it like the race before but got caught out. Ole Jackstand and his gambling habits. 😂
Incredible race, incredible result (0.0002!), incredible attitude in defeat. What a guy.
"I'm so freakin proud of my team" that says it all right there. All weekend long Cleeter just kept paying respect to everyone who helped. This is what determination and teamwork will get you. Congratulations McFarland Racing.
That my friends is a master class in Leadership!! Which is why he succeeds and is supported by everyone!!
@@mdbrenna Absolutely.
This is definitely top three of all the videos on the channel. Holy cow, never been happier for a bunch of guys I've never met.

Yea seriously, I would say my top ones are definitely this one 1st and the one from yesterday 2nd
I'm nocking all sorts of crap off my desk cheering for you guys !!!! LETS GOO BROTHERRRRRR !!!!!! HELL YESSSSSS
Bad assss! Mullet is a missile! Jorge's driving: Tree chopping & awesome pedal jobs, Jackstand doing what he does in Ruby, I couldn't be happier!!! I literally felt like I was there with you guys as a team member! THIS is what it's all about! Great job McFarland Racing Team and great content!
What. A. Video. Couldn’t stop smiling, heart pounding with cleet lining up to race, and laughing so hard at George I bring tears to my eyes!
Exactly the same for me
Cleet and Crew are infectious. We know they are "acting", but its not an act. Love those boys!!
You described me so well
Same here, all the way in the Netherlands 🤩😎🇳🇱
Yupp, someone’s cuttin’ onions here.
Seeing so much excitement from this group damn near had me in tears. This was amazing. Havent seen a video this good since LeeRoys 7...
I couldn’t hold back the last 15 minutes or so
Bro it had me in tears the whole time
Same here, awesome video and awesome racing.
Me too. Been watching this group for a number of years, and seen the disappointment in their faces many times. NOT TONIGHT!!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!! WELL DESERVED!!!
Same here. That was amazing
McFarland Racing has come so far in the last five years. So much fun to watch this.
Cleet I am so proud of you and the entire team!!! What a weekend!!!
For real tho, George pedaling it and kinda toying with the other driver was low key savage AF lmao
I'm still wondering if that's actually George driving!! He's a savage!
so happy to see George take a W in Rocky, guy was so happy. same for cleeter
Classy AF splitting the pot with Rick. That's sportsmanship!

ITS ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!! HELL YEAH BROTHER CLEAN SWEEP FOR THE CLEATER CREW AT FL2K!! I have been watching since the rental minivan burnout at hoonigan long beach and have been hooked to your content ever since. You have single handedly change my life and countless others for the better. I have been waiting for the moment to see you and the boys finally make it through the competition and show the world that Garrett Mitchell and his crew are the will find a way to perceiver and succeed in any mission they put them self in. Whether it is driving a car across a pond, building the fasted stick shift gm in the world, completing and winning your rookie rocky mountain race week, or dominating one of the fastest and most competitive events in the country you have found a way to fight through every battle and ciment you place into history. Not only have you taken every left turn and somehow found a way to shake and bake your way around every opponent that comes on your line better than ricky bobby himself, but you have also lead your team, the industry, and the entire community the the best place they could possibly be. I thank you and your team for continuing on your journey and setting an example for anyone and everyone to see that no matter how successful you become there should never be an excuse to forget about your community and all the people that made you become the incredible freedom loving giraffe that you are today. I can't wait to see what incredible things you and the community that you have literally built around yourself will go on to next. only time will tell how far your positivity and all your bald eagles will take you. but for now you and your team have a lot of work and testing to do to make leroy and the fleet ready to take down the competition one pass at a time at world cup finals. I'm positive that Mcfarland racing will do whatever it takes to make it happen. I love you and I will forever look up to you literally and figuratively as my number one hero in this world. i would do anything to help you and your team become the best that you can be. i hope one day i can meet you to thank you for everything you have done for me. You have truly shown me that you achieve your dreams if your focus on what you are passionate about. You have pushed me to try new kinds of motor sports even if it is only getting your feet wet. in the matter of 1 year i have not only competed in and won multiple rental karting events against professional ameture drivers at my local karting track (Xtereme Action Park) but i currently hold the all time record lap time in both forward and backward configuration. Come january i will be getting the opportunity to get in the driver seat of a vintage formula ford that i have been the sole mechanic/pit crew for the owner for the last 2 years. I truly believe that i would have never explored my potential in this capacity if you never came into my life. I would still be in college for my underwater basket weaving degree and would have never devoted my life to the automotive world if it was not for you and the message that you have spread to the world. continue to forge your own path and doing what you do best but that's all for now, thank for reading, do it for dale, and i will freaking see you later! 🏁 -Alejandro Lescano [plantation, FL]
Feeling gooood for you to be living your BEST LIFE! Congratulations Alejandro.
Y'all I ain't enjoyed a video as much as this in a long time. This is right up there with the original Leroy 7.82 video. Good freaking job y'all I've never been more excited for someone I've never met!
Aside from when Leroy got his first 7 second pass this is probably the best drag racing video on this channel.
100%
When Leroy went a 7 is my favorite video
George’s excitement is just pure gold I love it
Bruh i was lol after all that screaming
No lie lol but I’d be the same way with that reaction on the tree lol
He has to learn how to slow down for the slip now 🤣
@Freddy Muldoon no kidding the best decision George ever made was getting fired (damn that sounds odd lol)
“Hand check” haha
That hurricane blew In a serious change to the drag game. Congrats boys. Yall deserve it. Stay humble
Its very rare I sit through and entire 1 hour video and love every second of it. I cant believe I used to watch you hook turbo whistles to your exhaust pipe when I was younger to seeing you run solid and consistent 6 sec passes.
The fact that there’s an engine out there, that can do these things back to back with minimal maintenance is astounding.
And I don’t even think they got the biggest or basest engine steve Morris makes. He has a lot with 4500+ hp. I think mullet is around 28-3000hp
yep people running SM motors are making Steve Morris Look like a Champ. SM is one hell of an engine builder
these kinda motors are rebuilt every year but yea still pretty amazing
Don’t let these videos fool you. There is A LOT of maintenance and a full team to get this car down the track. I’ve got a low 8 second car and it’s a handful on my own.
@@zx6r1320 nope go check out some of Steve Morris videos you are wrong yes there is maintainace but not as much as you think on an SM motor
When I started this video I didn't know that I as a grown ass man would have tears I'm my eyes for the sheer excitement and joy for you guys an knowing how hard ALL of you had to work to make those wins happen.. I am so happy for everyone that made that possible and HUGE HAGS to Rocky and Mullet for not sitting back an letting you guys down.. Those 2 put in some work and made it happen and Ruby, she may not have gotten the win light this time but she did ONE HELL of a job so all 3 should be so proud of there hard work
I got you bro... You're not solo here!
It's all the freedom, no shame in it. Those boy's earned it for real. That 6.54 tho... 🇺🇸🦅😅
You should have been there man... I'm 36, with my wife and two kids in the stands beside me, and was literally excited shaking and crying happy tears of joy through my gutteral 200lb screams. Over the years, the Cleetus McFarland youtube channel has afforded us many, many a feel good, yelling at the screen, jumping up and down happy moments, likewise the inevitable WTF wonderin' moments... but this was no doubt the best feeling CleeterMac moment of all. MRT, absolute banger of a job, congratulations! Go get another at World Cup, and get Zach and Ty paid! Man those boys vulcanize that team together at room tempurature like a summabitch. I know I'm not the only one that catches myself smiling seeing cleeter and the guys pumped up and havin a good time.
if there was only 1 channel left to watch, id hope its this. not only the content, but the lives these guys have changed, bringin George in from a not good situation, building up the shop guys and Sam. Sam is a perfect match for these guys. for sure his life has gained some years. great group and great content, even though im a ford guy

Dude I hear you, this is my third time watching this video. It fires me up seeing them getting sh*t done!
I think I've had my fill of "let's go". That's got to be one of the meanest Camino's ever built. Wish my Dad was still around to see you build that car, he loved those things!
Let's here it for Jackstand Jimmy. I mean, what a way to get beat! to the 4th 0. Just wow! Not getting down on the loss and being what his team needed him to be for the rest of the day is not just a great team mate but is a great guy!
I think the thing that makes McFarland Racing so great is that win or lose, yall have each others backs and have great chemistry. Thinking about the day that George busted the blazer on the stand up, or flipped the wheelie mobile, the boat series, the LeMullets, Crown Vic racing, the drifting, trophy trucks, burn out cars and let's not forget the growing family. Great group of people.
I hope when my kid gets older, he finds friends like the McFarland Racing Team.

after this video, I am not going to watch any other today... WHAT A DAY!!! watching this car being made, going thru everything and now THIS? I don't need to see more for the day... or week. Thx Cleetus team for this moment, much love guys!
We need a shirt with george screaming WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Like at
46:55 when he beat the white truck
My face hurts from smiling along with you boys. Long deserved wins for the crew.
This feels like a win not only for the Cleetus crew but us fans I was so pumped watching this video
Bro same. I was on the edge of my seat the whole. I’m yelling out side. My neighbors probably think I’m crazy at this point. 😂.
for sure
Exactly!! 💯🇺🇲
finally cleet might take drag racing seriously and less side quests.
@@dLikesDDs I like all the content
I just wanted to take a moment and message you. I’ve been going through one hell of a year, birth of my first child {9 years in the making} to having two different spine surgeries as a result of a bad crash, and I’ve always looked forward to your content to give me a moment to step out of my own mind. I’ve watched your content on RUclips since the original pro charger days on the c7, cheered when Leroy made that infamous 7 second pass!!! I cheered and was happy and excited for you when I saw the blue tire smoke for the baby reveal!
But I was overjoyed when I got to watch you guys go rounds this past fl2k.
Your ability to surround yourself with amazing people, and pushing them to be their best self, in turn brings out the best in you. As a result, in conjunction with a lot of effort time money and energy you and your team came together and kicked butt.
Made me happy to see all those efforts pay off, to see you so excited to finally get mullet running down the win light every time, and it be so smooth. Made me smile to see you successful
I’m sure you probably won’t see this message and I don’t expect any response, but I just wanted to say thank you for making the content you do. It’s honestly gotten me through some pretty rough times this year.
You guys killed it. Best RUclips video I’ve ever seen. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Congratulations on the wins!!
So nice seeing all the cars, especially Mullett, running passes like they were built to. Kevin, and the Cleeter crew should be very proud! All of you did and do such a great job and it is nice to see the cars finally running great!
I love how excited Cleetus gets for his crew as well as himself. You can tell his support is genuine.
I thought he was tearing up a little in the car but them I'm like he prolly don't have a voice left lol
Tbf he owns most of em so I hope he's involved but he does support his boys
you're nothing without a good crew man, and he realizes that more than anyone. Thats what makes him so fun to follow and cheer for because its always a team effort.
@@JJiG indeed
He just ran the fastest pass of his life and one of the first things he says is “How did George do?” That’s a true team leader!
I never comment but this was exceptional. I haven't missed one episode since they were in the garage and found "Neighbor". The man knows how to find the right people to build a team. Each man in that garage is top teer talented, with great personalities. Cleet has a heart of gold and that's what makes him so successful. Keep it coming.
Does Mullet have a billet aluminum big block? 🍻🇺🇸🤙🏻
@@hillbillyhippie597 no cast iron. Very high end casting I might be wrong but i thi k it is a dart block. Man it needs one though at nearly 3700 lbs any weight loss would help.
Same, and absolutely. I hardly ever comment on things, but this was one of those special moments I just had to let them know. I fully agree with this assessment and am and always will be here for it. Hell yeah brother, let's go! 221 @ 6.54!!
SO much deserved, and George has really filled in with this team. The chemistry and authenticity with the whole crew is on point. It's like putting together the perfect puzzle. And it is obviously paying off big! So damn happy to see this come together so well finally.
@@hillbillyhippie597 Not "YET"! LOL
Mullet is insane to run those times that consistently, being that heavy of a car, and on that tire? Just goes to show how badass of a crew cleet has around him. What great people.
Congratulations on the wins, Guys! This has to be one of your most "Edge Of Your Seat" videos ever! James' cars are complete monsters, and I can't wait to see them back in action. Most of all, I'm glad everyone had a safe race, and thanks for bringing us along.
George's reaction to winning is everything! Proud of you guys, hella good racing!
love seeing how stoked he gets
Mullet is DONE playing around, he was on KILL MODE, WOW. Incredible...
George making some KILLER passes too, holy crap. Huge improvements with Rocky and George!
BIG props to the entire crew, you all did an amazing job making all this happen.
Some massive driver modes by George, had a few wheelies this weekend that he definitely protected the car from.
Jackstand so cool headed LOL he is funny man ! great job !
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what an incredible day, CONGRATULATIONS CLEETUS, you killed it!!! AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!!!
thanks for bringing us along!!! mike
This video should be #1 on RUclips rn, the hype I felt during this the amount of work Cleetus and the team have put in since the beginning up until now mullet running constant mid 6s it’s amazing props to you cleetus meeting you is one of the highest things on my bucket list
Its really sweet after watching these guys work so hard for so long to start seeing them actually stacking up multiple trophies and cash prizes all at once. They really do deserve it. They put in the work no doubt. Mullet was flyin
It will never be. Too much Floridian freedom involved for the looney Liberals to handle.
I love how the first thing you say after crossing the line is how proud you are of your guys, a lot of people have no idea how much work goes on before the race even starts, congrats to you and the crew !
Dude, that shot right after George won with like 40 people (everyone that I could see) on the burnout pad screaming in excitement for the team... Frickin priceless! Glad to see the boys back in the winners circle! Congrats to everyone who made it possible!
