- As a new player, Forster came onto the market as a cheap motorhome brand. With its striking green and black logo, it was designed for a younger set than the usual RV buyers although of course their main client base is people aged over 60. However initially it looked cheap. No longer the case as you can see from looking inside these vehicles.
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
In my RUclips channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Dreamer, Itineo, Rapido, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Karmann Mobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Bocklet, Woelcke,Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Murvi, Bliss, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow, Holzmobil, Giotti Line, Florium, Fleurette, Ahorn, Westfalia, Space Camper, Orange Work, Concorde, Womondo, Protec, Auto Sleeper, Dethleffs, Ilusion, Gehocab, Malibu, Pilote, Wild Ax, Vantage, Bresler, Tom's Fahrzeugtechnik, Morelo, Swift, Carado and others.
I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

They look really good for the price point. Thanks for the video!
Wow. They did a wonderful job with this one. I wish you had been able to look at it longer. 6 people sleeping in it at once! Wow
I have done it in a separate video!
@@VanlifewithAlan ok thank you I will go look for the video.
I’m really getting to like the Forster range.
Well, you may only be able to show us the cosmetics, but I find your considerations on the intricate market positions of different brands very helpful. Might you draw some sort of map of these at some point?
The Eura Mobil double-floor overcab model with the rear tripple-bunk is so nearly what I think I need, what with the rather large garage with all three bunks wound all the way to the top. Would I be correct in assuming that removing the (agreed, pointless) rear facing bench would bring the length to 599cm? Do any brand offer such a motorhome?
There are several brands without the rear facing bench Anders including Roller Team which is owned by the same company as Forster and I have done videos of them. However getting rid of it is not always an option due to the installation of a double floor without going through the expense of rebuilding the cab
Hi Alan any chance of getting some footage of the rear drop down bed in operation over the lounge in the Forster. For a cheap range they look very very smart. .... cheers for vlog. Regards from NZ....Alistair
Hello Alistair, I have not got a video of one in a Forster, however you can see how the drop down bed works in various videos with other brands. As the drop down beds are all made by Project 2000, they are all the same! Regards from Poland!
@@VanlifewithAlan cheers Alan...understand the operational side for a drop down bed ....just curious to see how much space there was around the bed, would you have to clamber in from the end or sides.etc given it drops over a lounge....if you get my drift.....cheers 😃
@@alistairball2736 One can tell Alistair by the runners down which the bed slides! In this case, I think it would go to the approximately where the top of the lounge cushions are!
Alan please show us the closet STORAGE In the bedroom area ... T / Y
Just wondered, if you didn’t want the internal ceiling bed for sleeping, could you remove the mattress and use it as storage space instead? Thought it could be a great space for my husband to keep the model aircraft he makes on rainy holidays 😊
I suppose you could use it for that. You could use it for keeping the spare wheel too but I think that would be a rather pointless way of losing standing height! Each to his own! Why doesn't your husband hang the aircraft from the roof as we used to do as kids?
Nice idea, I’ll suggest it 😂
What campervan show were you at in this video?
Caravan Salon.
How much us cheap? (Comment before video got public)
Much cheapness
Very little expensiveness
