How are the chargers the worst cap situation in the NFL?? Miami, Buf, and the saints are all more over. The chargers also have a number of easy cut candidates, plus a retirement, and Keenan extension. Joe will get them under with ease while keeping at least Mack or Joey is not both.

I remember when I first heard the details of Deshaun Watsons Mega deal. 3 seconds in I knew it was a Huge mistake by the Browns. Yet they pay people lots of Money to Recieve Horrible advice any Laymen could tell you dont do that. They got Lucky with Flacco and better keep him because they will 100% need him after Watson Fails once again.

Mack isn't a FA he still has 1 year left but he'll get traded for either a 24 3rd or 25 2nd. Williams is a easy cut then extend/restructure Keenan. Lindsley is retiring so they'll save a lot there when they cut him post June 1. Not a great situation but mostly because of a few big contracts

Nobody is trading for Mack, maaaaybe like a 6th or 7th. Williams could get you a little more perhaps.
Chargers would be paying those 2 guys almost $28M to play for someone else if cut or traded, just fyi. I would venture keeping and re-structing their respective contracts is the ideal move. GL.

Heard alot of scenarios listening to all your podcasts but what about the Pats shipping their 2nd rounder to the Bears for Fields? Then using the 3rd pick to take MHJ? Not a Patriots fan but this seems like a way of juicing up the offense with 2 weapons heading into next season. Love your content!! Keep it up!

I am also worried about telesco as a Raiders fan, but I will say that I am cautiously optimistic because according to sources I trust that are in the raiders building Tom Telesco did not have final say on any contracts with the chargers, because the spanos family meddles in every aspect of the front office. That being said, it adds another aspect of worry because how much real experience have you had if you never had final say?

For the deal with ridley and the jags, if the jags let him go in free agency but then sign him they don’t have to give up the second. It’s only if there’s an extension which the franchise tag and a new contract don’t count as an extension

Ive been looking around for an email to add to your mailbag episodes. No luck so far. Here's an idea to spice up a mock draft. Getting away from chalk sometimes is as simple as exploring various trades that 'could' happen. As a Bears fan, here are a couple trades that might be on the table. Fields to the Patriots for either their 1st next year or a 2nd & 4th this year. That frees them up to draft Marvin Harrison Jr at the #3 spot and pair him with Fields. Second trade, Bears trade down with Washington for a haul because they don't view Caleb as well above the other QB prospects. With the 2nd overall pick, the Bears take Jayden Daniels. Third trade, if Nabers isn't available at #9, Bears trade down several slots to a team looking to move up for McCarthy. I'm not high on Odunze, so we trade back for some capitol and acquire one of the top DE prospects in Latu. Yes, it's just one team, but those 3 trades should take one of your mocks well off chalk.

So getting a player like Dobbins seems like repeating the same thing and expecting different results. Insanity. Let's get Gus Edwards and pair him with a back from this draft. Lloyd, Corum, Gore jr. Etc.

39:41 The Jags could pretty easily move on from Cam, keep Walker at LT (he's played there more than LG) and keep Anton at RT. Gives them flexibility to draft a OT to play guard this year and given that Cam missed 8 games this year and the LT spot didn't drop off without him I think that's the best move

Both Diggs and Miller will be extended, Diggs further than Miller, Buffalo had the 4th best offense in the league they were 11-6 they were the number 2 seed. Buffalo has to put together a team that can beat KC in the playoffs, they need a dominant D-Line everybody is giving the Bills a WR at 28 I also heard DE from Penn State that seems more likely. With the speed at the second level if you can pressure the QB to make bad decisions turn overs happen. That is a recipe for a Super Bowl winning team.

First off, I’m a huge fan of the content and don’t want to be “that” fan, but it’s criminal how little you guys talked about the Raiders’s offseason. I feel like they are at such a pivotal crossroads in their franchise because of Adams’s age, Jacobs’s contract situation, etc. that discussing such for less than 1/20 of your episode for the AFC is asinine. The fact that you only really talk about one of the hottest defenses coming out of the latter end of the 2023 season that much and only discuss their interior, as well as an offensive line that over-performed the entire season for that extent is a joke. While I understand the entire starting right side of the offensive line are free agents, in no world should that be the overwhelming topic of discussion. If you really watched the Raiders this season, and especially throughout the second half of the season, it is blatantly obvious that the team is desperate for a franchise QB. The fact that this term is neither mentioned nor said throughout your guys’ analysis is comedic in my opinion. It doesn’t matter who we have on the defensive side of the ball (Yes, I dream of signing DJ Reader), but at the end of the day we need to have an elite quarterback directing our offense.
