Hong Kong leader John Lee: Trade offices in the US are ‘jewels’ that draw attacks

In an interview with the Post to mark his second anniversary as Hong Kong’s leader, John Lee said threats from US politicians to close Hong Kong’s three Economic and Trade Offices (ETOs) there underscore their “great value”. Lee said he regarded the government offices as “jewels” that others aim to attack amid a “propaganda war” and vowed not to change ETO trade-promotion activities.
