Fallout New Vegas was like a dream game to me. I can use VATS with grenades, can craft explosives nice and easy with mad bombers perk, lot of options with grenade launchers... It was fun setting the wasteland on fire
Working on an explosives playthrough myself on yt/twitch. I think my biggest issue is carry weight because I’m playing on hardcore. Also probably won’t use grenade machine gun until 30+ after I get heavyweight or whatever the perk is for lowering STR req. my build plan is more about throwables and the Grenade launcher
All of these are played on hardcore as well, you can see the h2o warning on a few occasions. Anyway, I haven’t found carry weight to be a problem at all, you should basically only be carrying the grenade machine gun with the appropriate ammo and a few loose nades. The boost from hoarder also works really well. Check out the streams if you need more details.
Great build man I enjoyed watching this,u dont have the melee turbo experience but not having to worry about fnv (especially LR's)deathclaws and the ability to neutralize anti-materiel gun people and such from a distance is such an insane quality of life.
Thanks so much for this. I've been looking for a proper explosive build for a while, so I really appreciate this. P.s jokes are always appreciated, so once again thank you
Mercy is my favorite weapon in the game, it just lays everything to waste. For that extra damage, use eye for eye perk, you might find it annoying, but the trade off is quite worth it imo.
This build is one of the few if not the only one where I wouldn't bother taking eye for eye simply because you can plow through everything well before hitting level 20. That being said, more damage is never a bad thing, I just stop playing after clearing the promontory.
Ok you need to know this: the grenade launchers in this game are really good at vats. Use any grenade launcher in vats and shoot the feet of your target. The grenades will always land on target. This makes you have more range than sniper rifles. Also thump thump is superior to both lonesome road grenade rifles.
Cheers, there are a few ways. I usually get all of my money in the first quarter or so of Lonesome Road because I find that to be less tedious than gambling. Check out the streams for more details.
Discoveredyour channel recently while looking for new builds to try in New Vegas and I love your style and the way you present your build info. I know it's super late, but if you don't mind me asking, why the high agility? I didn't see any perks you might need it for and I dunno if AP regeneration would help you latrgame since you don't seem to be using VATS that much. Thanks for the great vid regardless!
Gotcha, thanks! Been giving it a try and really enjoying myself with it, I haven't used explosives in new vegas a lot and this channel has really opened my eyes to a lot of guns I kinda just left in storage or sold for caps that I wanna give a proper try now
Bruh the Hit the Deck and Adamantium Skeleton perks are a must for exolosive builds. Also Boooo! For not showing the two best explosive weapons in the game, Mercy and Red Glare. An automatic 40mm grenade launcher and an automatic rocket launcher.
I wish I knew about the grenade machinegun when I played an explosives build. I got through pretty much everything with MFC grenades.
Thump thump is really all you need. Maybe buy esther for the deathclaw areas.
@@slyllamademon2652 grenade machinegun ftw
Mercy is goated too if you are ok with dealing with dead wind cavern and the deathclaws that reside. As well as the legendary
I recognize that wonderful Scotsman's rant at the end, and you are appreciated.
Magic rünes, laddie…
Man this quotes from Worms games melted my heart

Finally it came out! This one was amazing, I can tell you had a lot of fun making this build!
From big guns “point and click” to explosives “point in the general direction and click”. One of the better ones, for sure.

@@poormansproductions2402 yeah I got strong back but I think I’ll pump up barter for Pack Rat, pack rat is an underrated perk

Incendiary against deathclaws is the funniest shit (using that unique grenade rifle with the beaver on it, ofc)
love your fallout content, subbed
I love the samurai jack reference for the Scotsman
Splash damage demolition expert 3 and 40m plasma grenades with mercy was the best explosives play through I’ve ever used

I think it’s a missed opportunity to not side with the Powder Gangers. Both of you love explosives and that should be reason enough
Good point, although I don’t care about any of the factions enough to join them unless it’s purely pragmatic
Subbed for the demolition man reference :D
I love the content. I also have the music you use stuck in my head lol
You need the Wild Wasteland Trait for that.

If you are willing could you do a no crafting archery for skyrim with tips. I am a experienced skyrim player but knowlege is our greatest weapon.
Elevator area is easy with two handed weapons) Enemies die faster then jumping on lift platform)) Just spam regular attack
Author of this video I would like to ask you what music do you use? At the beginning of the video?
Commenter under this video, the song at the beginning is from the Darkplace ost.

What is the best way to farm money early in the game to buy ammunition, and a aweasome video

What minor skills should I invest in. Barter?
What songs are you using in this video?
I used a few songs from darkplace apart from the usual pornosonic

demoman! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Why upgrade survival?
So you can get rad child and not have to worry about healing ever again
Thump-Thump😊
Should have called this the boomer build

Is this on hardcore ?
Ye, stash your equipment in goodsprings. You should only have your weapon and the appropriate ammo on you when you’re out and about
Not playing on hardcore makes you zero😂
Come on mate, you can come up with better bait than this, you can see both the h2o and food indicators a few times throughout the video
Actually wouldn't know never played on anything other than hardcore
Did ten times better without all that lower skill😂
I demand a small guns build in fallout 3
