Maybe but he’s grown to big for quality..see their trucks around St. Louis a lot.. sniping their customers is easy cuz they are astronomical on price and just hire anyone that has legs. Their yards are mowed maybe a little nicer than the kid down the street. He does have good business sense tho I’ll admit that

So, Monthly you'll need roughly, 50$ for general liability insurance, 500$ for business vehicle insurance, and whatever else for gas, equipment etc ? The dang vehicle insurance gotta be so expensive 🤦🏻♂️
Great info, Mike. In many/most states the business is registered through the Secretary of State. DOL much like the UBI is the Washington state specific nomenclature.
Mike thank you so much for sharing these steps to get started. I’m currently trying to start my own lawn care business and I have a Toyota Tundra and an older high end residential husqvarna zero mower that I already own so I think I’m slightly ahead on that end but I didn’t know where to start with the business end of things. This video cleared that up. Thanks again!
Hey Mike, the UBI # must be a state of Washington thing. EIN # is what everyone needs to open a business account no matter where you are in the states & the same whether it’s to open an account in a brick & mortar bank or a Fintec ( online ) bank unless it’s under their SS# ( DBA). 1 or more employees then you would also need a business #. People would have to get that from their local office & then they would be subject to Workman’s comp b/c you now have an employee (s). Anyway hope that helped. Other than that you were spot on.

You will be fine if you put “lawn care” in your name
@@MikeAndes even for thinking 5 to 10 years ahead where if I go into landscape, hardscape, then eventually tree work? Just thinking long term as well
This really helped but sounds like a lot of money you put into insurance.
How to start as a kid?

You can try to find customers who has equipment you can use until you can buy your own, that or work another job to save up that initial money
