That is why I love my Tacoma's ARE bed cap I have a full cap with windoors. I can add a cargo boxes behind the windoors to organize gear, or build a camp kitchen, or dedicated tool cabinets for work, etc. (though such cabinets would greatly reduce the space I have in the bed for sleeping)
Excellent video Matt, and epic build. I really like that it’s function and purpose over name brand. I’m looking into getting a Gladiator and doing a little research ahead of time on what to do, what not to do, worth it, and not worth it purchases. I really appreciate the open and honest opinion and reviews. As such, I have a few of your videos saved for future reference.

Howdy Again - I really value your inputs and experiences. I get some great ideas for changes in things I've already done, or ideas for things I'm considering. Some things I don't agree with you on - it doesn't mean you're wrong or I'm wrong, it just means that there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of options for building a Jeep. Only limitation is imagination and budget. The only advice I would offer to anyone is to build their Jeep for what they ARE going to do, not what they MIGHT do, and then build toward that within your own budget. Love your vids - be safe and hope to meet you along the road sometime.
I disagree with your assessment of the Baja S-1 lights, I put a set of ambers in my Warn Elite front bumper, and they make a HUGE difference in fog , rain, and dusty conditions. We have frequent foggy mornings up here in NWA, and I’ve been very happy with them.

I'm on dialysis and it's hard to get away for trips.
@Skinflaps_Meatslapper I completely agree with your sentiment. I really enjoy Matt's channel and content. Matt, wish you'd show more of the scenery of where you go. Exploring and seeing country way off the grid, is the draw. Having the coolest looking or most expensive rig is not my goal. I'm happy for your success, but I have to say this video rubbed me a little. I've heard you say at times about just get out there. That you don't need the top of the line. I appreciate the details of the products you share, but I'll be honest, this sends mixed signals to people who want to get out there with very minimal budgets and felt like they can't do it due to their economic situation. To me, this video enforces that possibly incorrect assumption that they need tons of upgrades and mods, before even trying, which will lead to hesitation to trying at all.
Very thorough walk through of your upgrades, well done!! You have mentioned in several of your videos about a diesel heater that you use, can you hang a link for it, thanks again for all the information you have provided.

Hello, I have two questions, I have Milestar Pats 35's after 10k they have gotten very loud. Have you experienced the same? Your fridge slide do they still make them? I think it's great. Saw your Gladiator at Overland East and that drawer is on the short list.
Do you have Clayton‘s HD springs or the regular? I have their HD’s and they’re pretty stiff when I’m not weighed down, but I usually have a good amount of weight weekly. If you have the regular, how does it handle when the bed is full?
at the time of this video I had the regular springs and they did great. However my gladiator has gotten a little heavier and I switched to the HD springs about a year ago and they are awesome.
This was a great follow up vid to your last build review. Probably getting the AEV lift this winter and they have a remote reservoir shock option but obviously a lot more- about twice as much. Everything else is exactly the same. All of my offroading is slow speed and will be with this rig. I won’t be getting to places where I can go faster until closer to retirement which will probably be my next rig. I can’t think of the last time I went over about 12 mph, or even wanted to. It is also my city/suburban daily and I drive interstates a lot too. What do you think about the remote reservoir shocks for my scenario. I mean I know they’re better, I just don’t know if I’ll really be getting the use out of them. I’ll spend the money if I’m gonna use it, but I really hate spending money on stuff I don’t need simply to say “look at me, I have the best” of whatever it is. So any insights you might have would be appreciated.
