The 'cheapo' emits 395nm UV light which is more visible to the human eye. That is why it shows up as more purple not because it's cheap. The other two uses 365nm and are more suited for checking currencies. You are comparing different things. I don't know if it's intentional but it comes across as pretty biased.
Which would you recommend for finding spiders? I'm planning on using a UV light for macro photography.
Thanks for mentioning 365 and 395. I didn’t know UV torch in the marketplace have different wavelength. I’m sold to the 365nm to kill some fungus
should have known this was a commercial for the channels website.
What is the best to take out volatiles
These don't do that. You need Uvc for that & that is dangerous for human direct exposure, so do be careful!
This is good information. Don't have any experience with UV flashlights but now feel I will be able to easily distinguish between good UV flashlights and cheap nonsense. Thanks!
Hi, i have a question, this cheaps amazons light still can work for things like glow uv paint? Like in clubs or things like that?
How about holding the cheapo closer to the Dollar bill like you did with both of the pricey ones?
Great info, saved me from buying a crappy UV flashlight. I ordered a Nitecore CU6 based on your thorough review.
how do you like it? I am shopping.
Thanks man. This is exactly what I was looking for. 😁
Ok so the UV is a broad wave length spectrum.
For some applications the lowest nanometer UV light is best.
These lamps still falls in to UV spectrum range
The reason why you cant see "shit" with the cheap one is because you are holding it far away (unlike the others).
What wave light are?
How much do they cost
£90 pounds for a UV light - ouch.
Thank you, these will come in handy in the vampire apocolypse
Vaccinated blood glows
Really enjoyed your blunt truth
Isnt is possible he is comparing 365nm to 395nm ?
which is which
That's what I was thinking.. with any 365NM you should be able to see something, no matter the price.
Dude, you just UV’d my eyeballs 2:57
Thanks for the video, was considering the P20UV, but for dedicated UV use you convinced me that the CU6 is the better choice.
Hello, do you need to test this kind of light like Amazon, I can send it to you for free.
@@zouotto9501 i want
I can do without uv light. So a cheap one will do if I only use it once a year or two.
Excellent video! Any suggestions on the best most compact UV light. I don't need intensity just using it to charge the Lume on a luxury watch dial but I want to be able to carry it when I wear a suit.
InChrist87 how long do you need the charge to last? If not long then any small compact UV flashlight will work. The longer you charge the longer it’ll glow. I’ll be making a video on what I think the best UV flash light is soon!
scorpions flow what one should i buy on here or the best hadnheld one
Did you ever find out what uv flashlight model is best for finding scorpions? i myself want to know also.
@@Deathtitan000 I just saw a great video testing 2 different flashlights with scorpions on youtube. Title was '21 LED vs 1 LED 365nm UV Flashlight review (For scorpions)'
Are uv light same as black light? I'm looking for something that can show mold.
Yep same thing
"black light" refers to uv lights
It's amazing what you can see with a UV light :O
You don't want to know 🤣and I'm not gonna tell you
@@eczemaeyedbitch6768 time to check the bed sheets 😄
@@eczemaeyedbitch6768😳😳😳 I think I already know
Thanks for sharing
What type of UV do these lights use? A or b?
A
I got two 365nm flashlights off amazon for $15 (making them about $7 each) they’re a very nice small size and they do produce UV, but they also produce white light which is disappointing to me because I was hoping I would get to see what pure UV looks like (which I’ve read it’s impossible to make a pure UV led that doesn’t let out some purple light, but this makes white light), and even if it wasn’t visible it would have a really cool effect when shined at fluorescent objects. Does anybody know of a 365nm flash light that doesn’t emit white light? (I’m looking at the convoy s2+ 365nm nichia). I’m also thinking of getting wood’s glass, which is used on black lights to filter out any visible light.
reaper. The convoy S2 is probably the best one out there but all UV flashlights will produce visible light. Woods glass filter helps cut that out. I have videos that explain all that. The cheap ones you have produce a lot of white light cause of the LEDs are cheap and don’t emit much UV. Don’t get confused on the white light and visible light. The white light you see is mainly made from regular flash lights.
It seems like they’re promoting you get what you pay for. I’m sure the nitecore and most name brands are made in China so it’s not relevant. Could you just use a regular led flashlight and install a high quality UV filter and get the same result?
you can put a filter that blocks visible light on your uv flash lights. even without a filter my $24 uv flashlight from amazon doesn't output much visible light except for some purple light so the flashlights you bought are just cheap and bad
they have different wave length, normal ones are 395nm, and the the professional ones got 365nm
do you know about the wavelenght from black light led strips?
do you think 5050 or 3528 led strip puts out decent wavelenght?

What would be a good light for very long range?
NITECORE MH27UV --- White Beam distance is (according to NITECORE specifications) 462 Metres. and priced at $89.95 USD. (18650 battery/Cell not included) www.nitecorestore.com
How much is the typical price for a good light pal?
Michael Russell $40-$60
i hv question..is that safe to see uv lamp? or need sunglasses?
you do not need sunglasses, as long as not directly looking at the light source
If you want to see what's REALLY there, I mean REALLY there, you want to use a UV flashlight
Funny, most screens that display this video do not have the range capability to emit UV. Like trying to show the detail of 4k on a 1080 screen. Edit- Or common digital camera sensors for that matter.
My toilet, nasty? How dare you! haha Do butt and breast implants glow? lol.
didn't really hold the cheap one up to the dollar like the expensive ones
Completely biased review. When he holds the cheaper, single LED UV light he doesnt take it close to the note at all. Totally unreliable review! Loser!!!
Yeah i was about to comment like this too
Maybe because cheap one seller does not pay....
That's such an ignorant comment. It doesn't make any sense at all. As the cheaper ones are brighter even if you shine it further away it doesn't make any difference. As long as the light gets to the target if it's a good light you will see the result, otherwise you won't, but the effect is exactly the same whether you shine it at a micron away or feet away period!
I am going to start scanning people before I shake their hands with my UV 100,000 lumens headlamp.
THANKS!!
you need orange goggles with blue light I think
Is that safe for eyes or need safety glasses ?
farrypro if you’re not staring straight into it then you’ll be fine.
He's dropping it of course it's not working
I have one and it works perfectly don't listen to him I'm a starter and it's very good for starters but if your not new to a black light get a better one and a little bigger
which one would you recommend
You need a Duracell in those buddy #copper #tops
Look I’m all down for reviews but you keep moving the most expensive torches closer and closer to the note and the cheaper torch is way out of frame.
Just ordered a convoy s2+ uv365nm.
nice video...loved it!
I'm afraid to look at our house with UV light now :S
+Benedict Benito lol a good uv light is kinda scary hahahaha
what about led 5050 or led 3528 strip ?
i am looking to put some on top on my wall mounted plasma tv in the beroom where i have some glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling about 2 feet above the TV , or is there a place you can by a bag of like 100 UV leds?
Thanks
thanks tho
ok now im prepared for the night
fucking volatiles
Nitecore make some of the BEST!
You would have been better off dimming the lights much more.
Lmao this guy is funny
Me:sees the instructions on every flashlight
Me.EXE:Skip this Bullshit
Ultrafires are a piece of crap because not one ultrafire I have seen had a heatsink. All of the leds were suspended in the air. The only thing holding them in place was a small bit of aluminium xd....
So very similar to convoy s2 then. On s2 if the brass heatsink gets slightly lose the pill will lift off heatsink instantly.. my convoy s2+ sst40 lasted 10-14 days. LED contact points burned up. Probably because of heatsink issues.
video too long
I used to watch your airsoft videos
365nm is best, but chinese put 395nm junk
Pot luck... mine is $5 phone microscope (reason for purchase), it came with so-called ‘uv’ and it actually is real. I tested it on Australian recently gov issued things.
First as always
look for gems and tje cheap chinese just don't pick up the best is japanese nichia found thousands
ethan mcdonald agree. Nichia makes solid 365nm LEDs.
Im only here for dying light
you talk too much
