If I won the lottery I'd move to England in a heartbeat. I'm from Germany and while I do appreciate the Alps and a couple of other spots here, it's just too nice and clean and boring. From North to South, everything looks the same. Something I love about the UK is the diversity of _and within_ the landscapes, the ruggedness and "old" look that's part of nearly everything. I've been on road trips around Britain 4 times and have seen the most amazing places, despite not really going for proper walks or far off the beaten track. It's just a magical place.

I decided to sponsor you, (every little bit helps )so you can keep up with your adventures, which helps me to experience England, even when I'm away. Thank you ! The Rhinogydd part of snowdoinia is where its at for me (specifically the parts east of llyn Trawsfynydd, the mountains aren't as big or dramatic as tryfan snowdon, or any those big ones closer to Anglesey but its absolutely one of the most serene and wild places ive ever been to/go to.
Wild ponies and wild goats, i saw them literally butting heads with each other this time (just north of Rhinog fawar in the "badlands" as the locals call it.)
If you go to snowdoinia often and haven't been there before then its definitely worth a visit.

Some national parks are obviously better than others for wild camping. But you need to hire a boat to appreciate the Broads... it's incredible. Hundreds of miles of navigable waterways, it's like a little pocket of the Amazon, but in England.

I recently did a 41 mile hike in 13hrs across the Moors called The Lyke Wake Walk, It was nice at parts but it was just a whole lot of the same thing which heavily added to the mental challenge of the walk. Congratulations on your first 100,000, and I'm glad you enjoyed your wine! I like your rationale: I guess we've all got an idea in our minds of what constitutes a national park - and lots and lots and lots of human habitation with overcrowded facilities that you have to queue for, doesn't really do it for me, either. Likewise, you do want something to be there, that sets it apart from any other random area of vast emptiness, and so I understand what you're getting at with your use of 'desolate', too! As you probably know, the Scottish Government recently came up with a shortlist of five for a new national park - Scottish Borders, Galloway, Loch Awe, Tay Forest and Ben Nevis & Lochaber - of which the favourite is said to be Loch Awe, though I'm not sure I agree! Galloway is the only part of Scotland I've never been to, because access by public transport is just too difficult and so, with its' dark skies designation, remote, rolling hills and picturesque and historic coastal towns and villages, I rather favour that, myself! Have you any thoughts on the matter at all?

Good video and choices, I live about a 20 minute drive from the Brecon Beacons NP, I can go up behind my house and look one way and see Pen y Fan, look the other on a clear day and see Exmoor NP, can pick out the fields over there when it’s been snowing, spent a lot of time over there in the last 12 years, also I used to spend a lot of time down the Pembrokeshire NP, especially in the Little Haven area during my diving days, been to Snowdonia twice, and Loch Lomond & Trossachs once, Dartmoor haven been to since I was a child and been to the Peak District once, this one I wasn’t keen on, South Downs & New Forest, haven’t been to those since they were designated NP’s, but spent quite a bit of time there as a child/teenager, Brecon Beacons, Exmoor and Pembrokeshire Coast would be my top 3, Beacons(1st, because I’m up there on a weekly basis, possibly move there in the not to distant future, also go outside the NP area up to Rhayader and Epynt, when accessible, it’s a live firing range, but accessible on occasions) Exmoor (2nd, it like the Beacons but the Beacons by the sea) Pembrokeshire Coast (3rd, slightly easier drive than Exmoor TBH, but I like the Rising Sun in Lynmouth). Cracking video

Liam if not already been, i would recommend the Galloway forest park. Only a regional park but certainly bigger and more wild than some of the smaller national ones in England. The midges can be a problem in places but u have the beautiful Galloway coast to escape to if gets too much lol

Im a Pembrokeshire lad and I'm chuffed you chose it but I prefer Snowdonia for wild camping. Both beautiful spots but so are the other 13 national parks. Distinctively beautiful in their own right

Couldn't agree more with the list. Might be slightly biased as I'm from Pembrokeshire

Wales' 3 made your top 5, they are stunning I live just outside the Beacons and 45mins from Pembrokeshire NP.
I have a thought why don't you vist/wild camp all the AONB's (Area of outstanding natural beauty) my local is the Gower peninsular. There are 34 AONB's in total there aren't any in Scotland as they don't employ this system but your travels will take you to Northern Ireland and the giants causeway etc.

Pembrokeshire is 180 miles non-stop of exactly what you experienced. Incredibly beautiful and unspoilt. As someone who has walked and camped all 180 miles know that you could make a series based on walking the entire route.

You are so right about Norfolk Broads. Have lived in Norfolk for nearly 30 years and never go there. Give Norfolk another chance one day. Camp out at one of the wilder parts of the coastline. Salthouse, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham, Holme Next The Sea....

I worked in The Loch Lomond and Trossach’s National Park as a Ranger as far as I’m concerned it is the most beautiful place on earth then the Lake District a close 2nd the the Brecon Beacons a close 3rd not much between them in fact I would put them all tied . But being a Scot it has to be Loch Lomond and the Trossach’s .

I''m a solo wild camper/hiker myself, i've been to the majority of the national parks in the UK. While i'm commenting I would like to say Loch Lohmond is such an incredible hike and camp just beautiful. I have watched your Snowdonia video some time back and I would really love to get to that exact little lake you were at is there anyway you could help? i know its hard but any detail would be helpful. Thanks man and i hope you drink all 3 bottles eventually.
