But even still ,the radiant bastion in kh1 was rly cool, as it looked over the rising falls where sora Donald and goofy looked up towards it. The cranes, the gears, the pipes, the pistons, all created the feel of a steampunk castle like nothing other. And yet throughout all of this, black garden remained relatively the same as it lived on throughout the scherzo di notte, giving so much meaning. KH 1 hollow bastion and bbs together one in the same, are rly great and is my favorite world in the entirety of kingdom hearts.
You know, Xehanort called Radiant Garden the 'City of Light.' You can kinda tell from the picture here. Then the Heartless came and ruined it all. Who knows, one day it might be again.
Hmm... A remix of the battle music for The Radiant Garden from KH2... Now that I have listened to this version, this version sounds way better. Just my opinion. :)
I realize this comment is nine years old, but when Radiant Garden fell to darkness during the heartless outbreak. The heart of the world was twisted and warped into the empty chasm and castle you see in KH1, much like a heart of a person warping to become a heartless. That's why it looks more like it does in KH2. After Sora restores the worlds back to light, Hollow Bastion returns to its old form of Radiant Garden, albeit in a state of disrepair.
@KHMusicKing You can thank Maleficent and KH 2 Xehanort for all that destruction to such a magnificent place. Hard to believe this whole series so far has just been about some old keyblade master all in all was trying to disrupt the natural order of things (light being dominant while darkness was left in the 'shadows') because he got curious. Heck even with Xemnas, it was kinda similar although he just wanted to be ruler over a world of his own with his 'friends' by his side.
If it helps I consider this my own personal battle theme and the Radiant Garden theme as my own normal theme. It fits me quite well as I kinda think of myself like "The Capital of Light" when compared to my other siblings. It does have a "sheer epicness vibe" to it I will admit.
Radiant Garden was a real beauty before the town got swallowd by the sea and The castle got twistedly warped.

Does anyone else get a "I'll fight for the light in my world... Even should it cost me my life!!" Sheer epicness Kinda vibe?
The only version of Scherzo di Notte that I actually like. This is WAY better than the KH1 and 2 versions of it.
@Zexion72559 I think that's the name for the song (and the translation to Scherzo Di Notte).

it's called Radiant Garden
@Quizboy9 nope, this one is called "black garden" thats what the soundtrack calls it, thats what im going with.. though, yea, it is scherzo di notte

Well looking at the picture of Radiant Garden as it was in BBS, I can't even see how Hallow Bastion could be formed from it?!?!?

@SkilledBlackMage I know right? I didn't know that it was a huge floating city (world) during that time of Kingdom Hearts...
@Zexion72559 the world is called radiant garden, but this is the battle music
@sora412zx it actually means "joke of night"

@TechMan296 the world is radiant garden.. but this is the battle theme.
One of my favorite battle themes though out the series :3 . Nice job extending this, bro ;) ! And Happy New Years =3 !
God, id love to in a place like that. ITS SO GORGEOUS!! X3
This proves Worlds aren't as small as we think!
It should still be Joke of the Night (Schezro Di Notte) But still, thank you for uploading! :D
It is the same theme,but just like how hollow bastion is now radiant garden, scherzo di notte was once called black garden before kh1
One word: PERFECT!
@totalkhaos189 to think, before xehanort's heartless got his hands on that place thats what it used to look like...damn that bastard
@rennemarie Just you though. This was how it was before darkness took it,
@Egotolegend2 radiant garden is the world music, not the battle music
radient garden's castle looks smaller then hallow bastion or is it just me o.o
@KeyGirl225 yeah the one in kingdom hearts 1 looks demolished and rebuilt like an african drug lord on drugs
The one in kh1 still looks cool with the steampunk vibes
@Rikuboi9 well, i prefer the kh2 version

@Xehanort34 Late reply, but don't lie Xehanort. You know right? XD
@adikkuchan haha maybe xD
